I used to play on Poker.com (which I think now is Carbon Poker, not sure though) and they had a rabbit cam and I really liked it. Not only is it nice to know whether you would have won a hand or hit a flush, but it can definitely be used to your advantage. Although it's bad to show too many hands, showing the right hands at the right time definitely works to your advantage. For example, if you know you are tight player that succeeds by rarely bluffing, throw out a huge or stupid bluff early in the game and show the rabbit cam. I guarantee half the table will have a totally different idea of your playing style because of this one stupid play. Once you finally get the nuts and bet hard with it your opponent will remember the retarded rabbit cam you showed off and you'll get paid off.
I used to use the exact opposite strategy when I played at that site. I would play tight in tournaments and then start stealing a ton of blinds around the bubble and build up my stack. Since I was stealing i didn't want people to think that, so every time I was in the dealer position and actually had that AA or KK the 1 in 10 times that I raised the blinds, I would do the rabbit cam and try to reinforce the idea that I was a tight player so I could keep picking up blinds. It worked very well and had a lot of success on that site because of it. So anyways, i'm just saying that any type of information you can give at the poker table can be an advantage if you use it the right way. |
