I get on a roll and make a couple hundred and then lose 300-400.. I play exactly the same yet I always feel like I am shoveling shyt against the tide... What really kills me is when I am down and triing to build up my bank roll. I play those stupid short money $3.50 and $6.50 sit N Go's (Jokerstars) and run into all kind of bad players.. who will call a 3-4X bb raise with 3-5 off nothing and suck out on the river....... Arrrrrrrrrg .. I think I would committ homicide sometimes if I were playing live. My question is what are some of the strategies other people have for dealing with up and down bankrolls and how do you recognize it's time to just take a break for a while? I want to play in a high stakes tourney and am triing 1 to get the experience needed to compete 2 A strong enough bankroll to feel comfortable in buying in..

TIP: when your on a losing streak/are getting no playable hands, call it quites for the day, and try again the next day... P.S- I know how you feel bud... I HATE RIVER RATS at pokerstars.com and fulltiltpoker.com

It happens with me too sometimes but I better try to take break for a while and again jump with a new charge. But one thing I would like to share is that we should try to analise and learn after every bad beat.
