Default What do you do stop the tilting?

Sometimes its hard to stop I've been on a bad fucking rut lately having lost numerous games today i'm down 30 dollars and I just keep getting bad beat after bad beat. What do you do when you get frustrated? I happen to start playing xbox it helps calm me down but today is just one shit show of bad calls and then they outdraw me,

I'm in the same boat as you, buddy. I've had such incredible bad luck this month it's insane. I've been getting sucked out on left and right, and the money has gone in as I have been the favorite. Just two days ago I went down $350 or so, with hands like AA vs. KK, lost it. Flopped a king high flush, lost to nut flush on the river, flopped a set against QQ, lost to a straight, etc...

I don't know, I just take a break, smoke a cigarette and then try to play solid ABC-poker to get something back. If I still get a bad beat or two, I just stop playing for the day, nothing else to do.

I have found that sometimes you need to take a day or two off from the poker world and not even go near them. Especially when i hit the tilt part and get those bad beats. I however do know how difficult this is to do. Leave the house or anything to get yourself away from the computer. I am sure there are some honeydo jobs that can get done. Goodluck on calming yourself down. and Goodluck on the felt

Taking a break works best, but usually I cannot make myself to do so Go eat something, and walk outside.

When talking about a long streak of beats, I can take a longer break from playing. A couple of days or weeks.

Default donkeys

Its sad to say but poker has its ups and downs. There are a lot of donkeys out there in the poker world and they bring a lot of bad beats. The thing you half to remind yourself is that you will never half to be as lucky as they usually are to win. Remind yourself that you do a lot more winning then losing. Also remind yourself that, that hand is over, move on to the next. Seems hard to do at the time but thats what it takes to move to the next level.

Default works for me...

The thing that works best for me, is to just get up, go cash in, go eat, go back to my room and take a nap, wash up and than go back and try it again on a limited time to see if i'm back or not with the game I should be playing..... there's always some "luck" in playing but a good card player will win more often than the "lucky" ones... protect your "bank roll", bet big with winners and get out early with losers.....
