I don't think I'd start out using a whole roll ($100 as you listed above) on the 1/2 tables...that's living dangerously...

Usually, when I start out with a fresh roll, I'll take a portion and play at .25/.50 or .50/1.00 and at least double it...if I find a table that is "easy pickins" I will stay and take as much as possible until one of two things happens: (1) the players start leaving, or (2) the run wears off. You'd be surprised at how many times I've ended up at an empty table because everyone left LOL

Anyway, once I have done that, I will enter in a few tourneys in the wee hours of the morning. I find these have the least amount of players and are pretty easy to cash in. I read a book once that said NOT to play during the wee hours as there are a lot of drunks playing at those hours.......well, if that's the case, I haven't found it to be a problem...if nothing else, it helped for them to be "drunk" because they paid little attention. LOL Nordica has pretty respectable tournaments at all hours, so I haven't found "drunks" to be a real issue (yet).

I use it all playing in 1/2 no limit. Anything less than that and I get bored, but then again I never deposit less than $400-$500 and I have extreme bankroll management problems. I always like to take the big shot, like depositing $320 just so I can play in the Pokerstars Wednesday $150,000.

I usually have a fair number of medium sized losses and then 1 big score. I guess it depends on whether you can afford to make another$100 deposit if you lose.

With $100, I start as small as I can and try to remain in my bankroll limitations. So I would be playing $0.05/$0.10NL on FTP -- for a real life example -- and I would be playing with less than a full buy-in (I would be in for $5 and not $10).

I would do my best to slowly build it up and not risk huge swings and losing it all. I admit, I am dramatically less likely to double my money in a day or two... but I am also dramatically less likely to lose it all.

I would do like Frob and grind out the micros, which I actually did, with my $50 deposit on FTP playing .5/.10, now 6 months later I am rolled for .5/1 games.

I used it on sit and go tournaments which was fun but I only made a pay out on a couple out of a bunch so I know I still got a lot I need to work on.

Interesting Outlook. the way i would play it is to take 100 to the 1/2 tables. i look @ online no different that a casino! I mean come on you have how many times to see the flop? nickel and dime'in isnt going to pay the bills!
