Default Flush on the River

Hell, I like all of your options and say yes to all. If I have to choose I will say I hate the suckout, especially the flush draw. The lower the stakes the less likely someone will fold on the flop with a 4 flush. You just can not bet them off the hand so I stick with pot bets, then the suckout. I will make more in the long run betting the hand and letting the donks attempt the draw, but those hands I lose to weaker flush draws stick under my skin. Some flush draws are good, but some players are in love with any and all 4 flush, regardless of bet or stack size.

On other options:

Trash talk does not bother me, I keep the game stats window open and do not watch chat. Chat pops over the player on the table anyways. Sometimes it is darn funny, sometimes pathetic (like the guy begging my table for someone to lend him 10 bucks). I can right click any person and disable chat if they get out of hand.

Time Donks - almost voted for this one. A slow player for whatever reason can absolutely kill an online game. No use chatting to them, they will just keep doing the 'use all my time' plan, whatever.........Also hate the fact there will always be one or two players late coming back from the breaks, that usually wastes 2-3 minutes of the blind level on the first hand after the break.

One more not on the list that is a personal pet peeve. I disable anyones avatar with a picture of a child. Poker is an adult game and I do not want to see children at the table nor in the casino. Also, with all the weirdos out there, why expose any likeness of your kid to those freaks.

I have been trying not to get mad when these things happen and I am getting much better at keeping my cool in most situations, but lets face it, if you play and have a passion for poker, you will have situations that bug the crap out of you. Dealing with it sucks, but we all have to......

Thanks for the post,

although it pisses me off when other people take the max time to make a decision, I have to admit I do it many times accidentally because my connection is so slow at times.

So just to let you know that guy that might be making you mad might not be doing it on purpose! haha

Thanks for the post,

I'm the same, There should be a rule not allowing 4 card flushes or straights(i know there are other games (IE manila)where you can only take 3 from the middle, but where can you play it online(also there's some skill involved in manila so that takes 95% of people out)its even hard to get a game(manila) with mates these days because of Holden

But my biggest pet peeve, has to be MORONS who take their full allotted time(& then some) to make a move every hand.
Can anyone tell me what they are trying to prove, surely than can't be so thick, that it takes 30/40 seconds to call the $20 blind

Lately it is FOR SURE suckouts for me. I feel like I play every hand great. I bet hard when I'm ahead and the other guy doesn't have good odds at all to call, but of course he does and hits his hand. seems to be happening to me over and over again lately expecially right on the bubble. Can't win anything lately

I hate it when people take forever to make a decision. Im not talking about the true tuff calls, and talking about when people take forever to make easy calls or folds, because they have seen someone on T.V. do it, or they simply like attention.

Not so much online, but in live poker games I hate when people talk about the hand when it's still going on or anything like it.

I was playing a live 10 person tournament with some friends one time, had JJ in late position, raised and only got one caller. The flop came out ridiculously like 10 10 10 (not kidding), immediately someone who had folded let out one of those Ugh! noises. The other guy in the hand threw out a small bet thinking I would fold with the scary flop, I reraised him all in and he calls and flips over A10 suited....

Immediately after that I turned to the guy who let out the exasperated sigh (he was the only one at the table I wasn't friends with) and asked "why the hell did you make that sound?" he says "I had pocket 7's, I would have made a full house..." that just pissed me off so much.

I really hate when people talk about the hand before it's over because it always affects the players in the hand.

PS I also hate when people ask to see your hand after they've folded. Either way if you tell them no or yes you are giving your opponent valuable information. I just try to say "I never show my hand" but it still gives away info.....

I feel like cheating is much more rampant at many poker sites than most people believe. just from talking to people in person, I've heard of a lot of people working together at the tables. Also, The whole Absolute Poker Scandal, sometimes I just don't feel comfortable playing online because I think others are cheating

Definitely SUCKOUTS. You just feel so powerless. And then even though I laugh at other people when they get knocked out and just start talking smack, I always find myself doing the same thing. Either way if you start swearing and calling the other person names, or take the high road and stay calm, they are still going to feel great about their suckout. I hate it

Default pet peeve

my biggest pet peeve is when they freeze a tournament for so called maintenance more than once or twice in the same tournament. i hate that worse than anything else. that is so annoying. full tilt has this problem a lot. the longest i had to sat out because of that maintenance was like almost an hour. then five minutes after they finished they stopped everything again and said they had to do it again and it lasted another 30 minutes.

For me deffo the suckout option which seems to happen more on some sites rather than others.

But what really gets me is the kind of suck out where the opponent wins, but made entirely the wrong decision.

e.g.I lost recently on a cash table with my AA to his 9-5 unsuited, he called my all in (around $50) and out popped 955. Oh well... down this month because of lots of those moments....

Bad beat stories --> me on life tilt.

Btw stardust there are a lot of players on low limits, who while perhaps capable of playing higher, simply do not have the bankroll yet for such things
