Default Why Poker?

How did you get involved in poker? Was it that poker game with family/buddies, TV, followed the crowd as it became popular, maybe its to see if you can make a living at it. Whatever the reason, lets hear it.

Gambling in all forms has appealed to me since what's most likely an unhealthily early age, and poker's my game of choice because it's not purely down to chance (though it definitely seems that way a lot on Full Tilt lately).

Wyte isn't it about time that you turn that gas guzzler in for a better car??

With gas prices these days, I hope that you're winning enough to fill that tank of yours....lol.

Took a $50 BR to $139 in 2 hours yesterday, killing the $2 SnGs almost 10 1st place finishes and a few wins at the $6 turbos SnGs, trying out a new idea of mine between these two and trying to work on aggression control

Soo maybe once I get to the $1000 SnGs, I maybe able to afford gas for my truck!

In a few months we might need to win a few $1k SNGs to afford gas for a scooter.

My family got me started, and now I just play because I enjoy it.

Me personally, I play poker because it's something no one can perfect. I like to be good at everything I do, and poker has so many things you can get better and better at it just doesn't stop.

Bty, congrats on this thread getting a nom for the PTOTW!
