Default Can YOU Do It???

There's a lot of poker lingo out there, so let's see if you know the hand that goes along with the following nicknames (most junior players should even be able to know most of these):

1. Bullets, Rockets, Pocket Rockets, American Airlines

2. Cowboys

3. Ladies

4. Snowmen

5. Walking Sticks

6. Speed Limit

7. Crabs

8. Ducks

9. Big Slick

10. Dead Mans Hand

11. Perfect Marriage

12. Fixed Marriage

13. Kojak

14. Computer Hand

15. San Francisco Bus Boy

16. Doyle Brunson

Test your poker lingo and see how many you can get right!

Aces, kings, queens, eights, sevens, fives, threes, twos, AK.

Now I'm kinda getting lost Dunno about dead man's hand, I guess the marriages are KQs and KQo, then KJ. Never heard of the computer hand, but the last two being Q3 and T2

Okay to clear up some confusion, a "Perfect Marriage" is KQ suited; a "Fixed Marriage" is a KQ off-suit....irish got that one right

Shouldn't it be "mixed marriage" and not "fixed marriage"?

It is called both those things. Either one is correct. Some people call it "fixed" because it's like they were "fixed up" with each other since they're different suits.....where some people call it "mixed" because they are mixed suits. Either way, same difference

The only one I didn't know was the Bus Boy one... I'd never heard that before.

Around here, we have another... a local variation:

Daytona Big Slick ___ 2-7

Because in Daytona, many morons will be playing it like it's AK and will see a flop with it regardless of the cost. It's common to have 7 people see a flop of 7-2-2 and know that someone has just flopped a boat. Man... I love live poker.

I was playing $1/$2NL last week down there... and someone made it $55 to go blind... before the dealer had even dealt the first card. You just don't find that kind of insanity online. Edit, that is not a typo... the man put out $55 without a card in his hand at the time.
