Default hand feedback

alright, i haven't been playing poker very long and just wanted some feedback on how this hand went down...any comments are welcome if you want to flame my play flame on. I am grizzlo84 in the hand. So i am dealt ak in the small blind obviously a decent hand in most cases, but i don't raise because out of position as i think a lot of other players would agree. so the flop comes and i hit my king and pretty sure i have the best of it for now. I bet a decent sized bet and get called by this player who has been playing pretty loose and fishy the whole game. Was sure he had at least a pair or maybe a draw, then the turn brings a meaningless 6 and i bet again. I know i probably shoulda gone all in here, but i think he was gonna go all the way with the hand no matter what and he calls and by now i was pot comitted anyway. so then the river comes with a q and i go all in for my last small bet and he calls and of course i had him the whole way and he hit two pair on river. here's the hand, just want to hear your comments on how you woulda played it differently if at all.

You played it just fine. Like you said, it would've been better to go all in on the turn but she probably would have called anyways on the J/Q draw. She knew exactly what you had and chased for 9 outs (2 10s, 3 Qs, and 4 Js) which was risky but paid off for her. Nothing you could do.

Post flop I don't see a problem with the play, especially given the fact that you had some reads on him.

However, no matter what position, with AK you ALWAYS must punish limpers. Most likely the hand would've gone: shadylady limps in, you raise (for example 3-4xBB), Dalton folds BB, shadylady probably calls. You hit top pair top kicker on the flop, throw in a pot-sized bet, or an overbet. I doubt that shadylady would have called with second pair decent kicker+gutshot. If she did you were in a weird position, but still likely to have the best of it. Turn card is a rag, push all in. If you still would've been called, then there's nothing left to do. If shady is a fish or no, you still would've put all your chips in with the best of it and you would've been the fav to win the hand. (Flop 68%, turn 80%).

I totaly agree with Fictive. The binds are significant and I am always going to raise with this had even in EP. I would have bet pot on the flop and pushed on the turn. The end result may well have been the same as it is sometimes not possible to get these fish to fold in $5 SNGs. Hence the reason to raise and bet strong when you have good cards.
Good Luck
