i just call and pretend i don't got nothing big and as long as a queen or king hits and no aces or on then its game time. i consider even K,Q offsuit a good hand but when it comes down to being under pressure and your coming to being on the final table i'd fold the a hefty pre-flop raise

It's one of those rookie hands... like KJ AJ AT they're definitely playable... but cautiously... two pair is dangerious... don't want to pay off a straight

Ex. KQ9 when you have KQ looks nice but it's very likely someone will play JT

Very valid point. Thanks! This is one thing many people tend to forget when playing KQ is the possibility of JT being a serious competitor depending on the board. JT suited seems to be a fan favorite against even AA.....I've seen it played (and won) against all manner of different hands quite frequently online. This was actually one of my arguments to one of the guys...that wonderful "what if" scenario LOL.

KQ suited is okay. I've flopped a royal flush with QJ suited... which is a worse starting hand than KQ. Just be careful when big raises start happening pre-flop.
