You shouldn't push a small or mid pocket pair unless you are extremely short stacked, like < 8 BB left. Any pocket pair that is up against two overcards all-in preflop is only slightly better than a coin flip. Having said that, your opponent here is sort of donkish for raising 6x BB an AJ offsuit. A lot of times with that big of a raise you're going against a monster i.e. AA, KK or maybe QQ The most I would done here is call and see the flop and hope you hit your set. If not, fold it with another big bet or push from your opponent. One of the things that's about SNG's though is it's hard a lot of times to get a read on other players because in most cases, they are all people you have never seen before.

Your play was perfect for KK. I wouldnt have played it differently myself. He was about 13% or so to beat you on the river and his odds were 1.5/1 so he was making a fatal error. The fact that you were drawn out was just variance.

Now your second play wasn't correct. You were not in a situation yet where you should of been thinking all in with any pair. Facing a raise, you shold of been able to throw you 88 away without thinking about it.
