Default Are The Americans Trying To Protect The Likes Of Las Vegas?

It seems to me that the American government are just trying to protect the gambling industry which is Las Vegas.

They must be missing out on lots of taxes with worldwide online sites capturing the US market. What next?

I was thinking of this issue since the past year when the H.R.4777 act was passed to law, leading to the actual bill.

From my point of view, there is an interest for keeping Las Vegas and other Nevada's casinos as the ultimate and unique resource for gamblers nationwide, ignoring that American can aways find a way to keep playing online, legit or not.
