| I recently left my job and decided to play full time. I planned on pulling a salary for myself from my online play, and claim it as income. I am from Missouri, and started to look into the laws, and it seems that online gambling is illegal for a missouri resident?!? Am I going to be at risk for prosecution if i withdraw money from online and deposit it in bank, paying quarterly self-employment taxes?? Do I have any options? |

| Is it illegal for out-of-state gambling operations to offer Internet gambling to Missouri residents, or for residents to play? The UIGEA at least only targets payment processors, and not gamers.

| Thank you for your reply, yes that is the question. I am speaking to a lawyer and CPA tomorrow, as to the specifics of the Missouri law, will post their response. Keeping my fingers crossed, I know they arent prosecuting anyone, but I'm married, with 1 year old daughter and new house. Risking those are not an option. |
