You Laughed, but I was RIGHT...

To those who laughed at me saying I was being "silly" when I was worried about being banned, EAT YOUR HAT. Here's the email from Ultimate Bet I just received today. You can bet that since AP and UB are one unit now, that will go for Absolute too...

Default Absolutely Terrible

Lilady,
That is so terrible I just cant put it into words. It may only be a matter of time before other states jump on the anti - online poker bandwagon.

From what I'm hearing from other sources, January 20th may be the end all be all of online poker in Kentucky...and other states are sure to follow...

I think I'll start sending a letter to the Governor every time I go to INDIANA to play at THEIR casino...either way, the dumbass is losing Kentucky revenue...what's he gonna do? Ban our vehicles from passing Exit 0? LMAO

Hi liladypoker
Where is it in you're bill of rights, I think (we have a constitution) that it says that you are a free person, with a free will...We have an idiot just north of South-Africa( Mugugabe ) who does the thinking (oppresion) 4 his people...This governer sounds like a dad who never had something, and now that he has some kind of power.....he should focus on the things that matter...not the things his wife denies him...
nuv said..GL with you're action..

America... land of the free... as long as you think and act the way we think you should.

This issue thoroughly "irritates" me. I find it completely ridiculous that buying a ticket for $1 with a 180 million chance of winning (a prize that rarely offers any favorable odds) is legal, yet playing a skill based game online is shunned.

I am SO sorry to hear about that. It sickens me how much knowledge these politicians have of the law. How can they ban gambling in the WHOLE state of Kentucky? Even if they pushed the law book aside, look at how much money they are losing! It's not that hard to tax gambling in one state over the other, or tax it like everyone else.

Someone please give this guy a bottle and his blankie because he seriously needs to grow up.

Thanks guys. I'll stick around as long as I can, but once it's done, it's done.
