Default Hello from Indiana

Hello everyone!!

I am new to this forum and have been browsing around some before posting my introduction here. So far what I have seen it looks like a great place and alot of friendly people.

I live in Indiana where the weather right now is simply beautiful and its very hard to sit indoors and play poker online during the days I am off work, but on the other hand I love playing poker and it is sometimes even harder to get away from my computer and enjoy this weather.

I started playing poker 2 yrs ago by watching my son play online. Needless to say he got me addicted!!! I do really good sometimes then there are times I don't do so good, which I am sure is the story of many of us. I have only played live poker 2 times and that is when I went to Vegas and met a group of people from online and we had a tourney of our own. I did take 3rd place and it was very exciting!! I am getting ready to go play live at a Casino here in Indiana on the 30th of the this month. It's a 40k Freeroll so wish me luck

I play a few different sites but mostly Full Tilt and Pokerstars. Yesterday I was in a 5.50 buyin on PS and won 23.75 , so I quadrupled my buyin.. Yahhh me!! I also played a 2.20 buyin last night and cashed out at 12.45, so again made some money. Sad thing is both tourney's I went out with Pocket A's!!! Sad but true, it just wasn't my day to win with them. But that is poker and it does happen. It's not much fun loosing to them especially after being in a tourney for 4-5 hrs and you think, WOW.. I can catch a good pot here.. WRONG.. didn't work for me, not yesterday anyway,lol..

Some of my favorite games to play are H.O.R.S.E , Razz, Omaha h/l and Omaha Hi.. Love these games and it is a nice change of pace from NL Holdem. I read a post on here about donks and these type of games you usually don't get the donks as much, because they are limit but sometimes do take alot of time playing them.

Hope to see you all on the felts soon and Good Luck to everyone. Thanks for taking the time to read my intro here..

Rakeback Community Tour #68 @ Full Tilt, Sun 21 Sep, $100 freeroll

we all have win and losing streaks its normal. The better you get the less it happens obviously.
Good luck in your freeroll. Pracice not giving off tells, and your poker face.

Hi Lady!

My son lives in Louisville, he works at the Airport!

It is at Horseshoe there in Elizabethtown, ..New Albany, or wherever its located,lol.....Used to be Ceasars. Not sure if I can go now but I think I am going down Sunday for awhile. They are giving away $5000 every hour from 1-6pm , Saturday and Sunday, and on Sunday at 6pm giving away $50,000!!! Check it out on the Website, don't have the link handy, just search for Horseshoe of Southern Indiana. Let me know if your going

Yeah I go to Horseshoe once in a while...I think I liked it better when it was Caesars LOL

I'll look at the website and hopefully will be able to go out there. Prolly have to go early or call ahead and register or something. That place is a mad house when there's poker tourneys LOL

Hope you make it! If you do, keep your eyes peeled for a Rakeback baseball cap.....that'll be me I have the only one in existence
