Tilt-a-whirl

By: Erica R. Nelson (October 2008)

Lately I've been reading a lot of "bad beat" stories and tilt problems, not only here but in other forums as well. I have to say that Tilt is a bad beat in and of itself. If you cannot vanquish this demon, you're damned to an eternity of Hell at the poker tables.

Variant Poker Style

by Erica R. Nelson (September 2008)

Here are a few things I try to keep in mind when playing, to maintain a proper table etiquette,...

Balancing Poker with Relationships

By: Erica R. Nelson (August 2008)

This concept can sound easy enough to accomplish, but believe me it is one of the most delicate balances in the world. The fine line we must walk between Poker and relationships is as thin as a spider's silk.

For those who simply view Poker as a fun and exciting hobby, they may have no trouble putting their relationships and other responsibilities first, and Poker second. However for...
