Default Secret Santa Game

One of my favorite games to play, even if only seasonal is Secret santa game. Christmas is coming up you know
You have a group of people that want to be in the secret santa game. you draw names and keep the names a secret.
You do this for a week or two before santa. you sneak and secretly deliver little gifts/cards/candy to the person who's name you drawed. then at the end of that you have your christmas party and you wind up finding out who your secret santa is.. (if you didnt figure it out prior to the party) it takes quite a bit of sneaking around to keep it secret, especially if you do this in an office where you work or similar group.
I guess this is kinda like gambling! hehe except you really dont have much to lose and definately wind up with something.

When I used to work at a bank that is how we handled Christmas so that it would not get too out of hand and that we could all afford to get just one person something really nice rather then get everyone something crappy. It was really cool the last time I did it because I got someone that I really liked and knew very well.

Secret Santa is always a fun little way to get everyone into the Christmas spirit. The standard price limit also encourages people to actually focus on the thought of the gift and not just the price. It only works if everyone kinda knows each other though.

I love that game. I remember when we were in elementary school the whole class would play the game, I have also done it at places of employment and we have done it among the family also, it's one of my favorite games

Yeah, that's fun unless you're the person who gets the secret santa that gives you, like, a half eaten bag of candy or something! There should be a max and a minimum!

Yeah. I know I sounded like sour grapes but it's because one year I got the stupid santa and it took the fun out it. I think there's truth in the fact that it's more fun to give that to receive, but not always in the Secret santa game!

Yeah, one thing about the secret santa type thing is that if you're doing your best to do nice and the person who got *your* name isn't, it's disappointing.
