Default L A Dodgers, my second Passion

The Los Angeles Dodgers are fast on the way to leading the NL West, and with a home stand against their most hated rivals, the SF Giants, we should be looking at another 3 game sweep. Having just trounced the Washington Nationals three games in a row, with two shutouts, the Dodgers are now in .500 ball. Nothing would make me happier to see the Giants go down in flames the next 3 nights. What is your opinion? Oh....THE DODGERS RULE!:

Default Brewers?

Brewers? I think they're about to have an unfortunate collision with a team from chicago...while the dodgers are about to seize the NL West by the testicles and squeeze...hard. Although with as bad as the west is this year maybe I should say they are about to grab them by their lady parts...So as I sit down right now to watch the Dodgers Giants series to begin, I must agree with Kevin, the dodgers not only rule, but they are about to beat the west into submission...the playoffs will be sweet....especially if penny returns...god I love the dodgers

I'm going all out for the Red Sox, unfortunately they're looking a bet shaky at the minute

As for the Dodgers, I'm not sure they can even win the West, and if they do, they sure as hell ain't going all the way

Shouldnt everybody here be Cards fans?

As always, whether u think it or not, the Cardinals will be the team to beat come playoff time. Back to reality dodger, brewer, and ESPECIALLY poor cub fans.

Used to be a huge BB fan and nothing annoyed me more then dodger games. Countless 1-0 boring games and UBER annoying commentator (not sure who he is, i'm from Europe so used to watch on mlb.com, there wasn't an option to change home/away commentary). The eastern teams were always more fun to follow, a lot more action there and I love the sox and the yankees, they made me tons of money .)

My team hasn't had even a winning season in 15 years. Blah.

Once again...Will they take their division? After last nights shutout of the Giants, their 9th of the year, (they lead the NL in shutouts, by the way) they still remain only one game back of the Diamondbacks. Their 2-0 defeat may be disputed in a court of opinion, but even if the Blake double and the Ethier run was not counted, and the tag at home had been an out...it still would have been a 1-0 shutout! And how about the Dodger bullpen being 0 for 25 in the last 2 games? They have not allowed a hit in 2 games. And still the question needs to be asked, have you heard today that THE DODGERS RULE!

The Los Angeles Dogers posted yet another shutout tonight over the SF Giants (blech...bad taste in my mouth!!), as their pither Billingsley picked up yet another win, and their hated rivals went down in flames. YEAH! Some interesting things about tonight. This is the Dodgers 10th shutout of the year, and this puts them first in this catagory. Yet they are still one game back in the race for the NL West. They have won 7 of their last 10 series, yet only tonight did they surpass .500 ball. Now they have a series coming up with the Az Diamondbacks, and this may be the decider for the NL West. If the Dodgers can take this series, it will put them into first place, and put some gas into the Dodgers tank at just the right time in the season. More tomorrow. Oh...and did anyone tell you today that THE DODGERS RULE

After sweeping the Phillies in a four game home stan, the Dodgers are moving closer to securing a Natilan League West victory. They are now tied for first place with the Arizon Diamondbacks. Their next opponent will be the Milwakee Brewars for a three game series. All has improved with the Dodgers since they acquired Casey Blake and Manny Ramirez. Thei hitting and run production has increased, and their pitching staff is still doing more than adequet work. To top it all off, their bullpen has been able to finish the job in situations that they were called upon. It is truly looking good for the boys in blue.

Well...the Dodgers have now taken the series from the unsuspecting Brewers, and are tied for first place in the NL West. It's looking better each day for them. But the Diamondbacks are not laying down softly. They are keeping pace each day. The Dodgers roll into Colorado tomorrow to start a new series with the Rockies. Let's see howw the bats of the Blue Crew do in the rarified air. If Manny gets a tailing fastball about belt high, it may be on it's way to Golden Co. in no time flat. Here's a joke I wanted to add as well. It's not baseball related, but I thought it rather funny.

First man: How'd you get that black eye?
Second man: I called some woman a two-bit whore.
First man: She punched you?
Second man: Nope. She hit me with her bag of quarters.

Man, baseball sucks for me. I live in Texas. We never have a real shot at the series. We just hit a lot of home runs down here.

The Dodgers took the series from the Diamondbacks, and now travel home to face the San Diego Padres. If they can take this series and get some help from the Cardinals today, maybe they can gain some ground in the National League west.
