Netherlands vs Russia

Russia was thought to be the underdog in this Euro football match, but prevailed against the Netherlands in Extra Time, scoring two goals within a 3 minute time frame. Netherlands had many chances to score with free kicks, as well as a few wide open shots that were missed terribly. It was a very exciting match, and it was very clear which team was more hungry.

After Russia scored their 2nd point in Extra Time, you could see Netherlands players hanging their heads, essentially giving up, even though they still had 7 minutes left to play...plenty of time to score...as Russia proved less than 3 minutes later, by scoring yet another goal, closing the game with an end score of NED 1 RUS 3.

It was a good game for anyone supporting Russia I agree, but I wasnt & was very upset about the way Holland played.
They were dreadful. Russia deserved to win the game.

Just to point out, it is goals they score & not points lol

I know they score goals derrr LOL Consider the fact that I've had about 6 hours sleep in 3 days, and you'll understand how I can mistakenly say "point" meaning "goal" to me it's the same thing...especially when I'm barely awake

And I agree, Russia played as if they wanted to win, and Netherlands simply did not, so the more deserving team won that game for sure.
