Default Annette_15 Plays 180 person sit and go blind.

I thought this was pretty amazing. Annette plays a $4 180 person sit and go without ever looking at her cards and wins the whole thing.

Annette_15 Obrestad: Annette Obrestad - Blind/No Look at cards Tournament WIN!!

The hand replayers are pretty interesting. You can see her use and abuse position a lot. She ends up getting lucky a few times (but had the chips to gamble because she's stolen a lot before). And basically, she plays this all the way without looking.

It's painful to watch at times... like when she open-folds KK or open-folds AK on the button 4 handed. But it's entertaining and I thought everyone would enjoy it. I'm obviously impressed. I doubt I could win a 180 with my cards... she did it without them.

Yeah, this was a big story a year or two ago. And I think she makes a good point with this experiment. People on the other end of the computer screen can't see you, so they have no idea what's going on. They simply have to play their reads and their cards.

That being said, she is a great player with outstanding reading abilities as well.

lol... maybe next PTOTW I get in, I'll try it.

Who am I kidding... no way. I would have the courage in a freeroll but that's the one time it wouldn't work because they're not folding enough.

I'd be willing to give it a shot on a low limit table or a freeroll event.

Yeah she played blind in the tournament she won to qualify for the WSOPE which she won, she must feel she plays better going purely on feel and not leaving too much to the luck of the cards. I assume she plays the small ball strategy of stealing lots of small pots without ever risking too much of her stack.

i read about this in an article a while ago, and found it really interesting too.

however in that article she does mention that she looked at her hole cards once! when a small stack went all in against her on a 3-spade board or something, she decided if she had a spade she would call......well she did have one, so she called, and lost! lol how's that for irony!

edit: in the video i think it's the 5:30 hand in the first video
