| Apparently in cash games on full tilt, pocket 3's r unbeatable. Last night in a ring game twice i was popped by em once with kk next with ak and three other times they beat high pockets with trips and not even pocket 3's something like k3s and 34s, i guess this is a donkeys world |

| huh i dont gvet it but from the topic it is saying that u woudl hate when peiople go all in with like 7 3 or something with 3's and i also hate it so much too that sometimes i call them morons exspecially when they win like 1m or even like 4m and there is anther thread for when peiple bluff with aces when there are no aces on table and its so annoying cuz they think they got aces they are in command. ok all i have a joke so plz enjoy:Walk on the living, they don't even mumble. Walk on the dead, they mutter and grumble. What are they? also more: There are 7 girls on a bus. Each girls has 7 backpacks. In each backpack, there are 7 big cats. For every big cats there are 7 little cats the point of this is to see hwo many legs are there on the bus? gl all on these riddles |

| Do only donkeys play pocket 3's? Guess that makes me one, if I can get in cheap enough, I'll play any low pocket pair with the hope of tripping up on the flop, even if I don't, I may continue to play them depending on the action. There's a lot to be said for a low pocket pair Vs two overcards, i think the odds are 55% in favour but I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong ![]() |

| There are some very good card (professional) players that say, if you have a "small" pair (in the pocket) and can get in "cheap", see the flop, you might hit a set and win so "big" money or chips... after the flop, if you didn't hit, get out if there's any betting going on.... Was in a book I read once (lol, will more than once)... I have missed and hit for a lot of different "small" pairs but it's always more "fun" when it hits.... Good luck out there with whatever you decide to try... |

| Actually with the session I just got done playing, I doubled up on a player hitting a set of 3's then later on that same person took a good chunk from me with the same set. The thing about PPs is that it's very difficult to read a set when it hits and especially when two other factors come into play: 1) How much the player disguises the set and 2) if the opponent has hit a pair on the flop, especially top card on the board or has an overpair (i.e. a pocket pair higher than what the flop on the board is). If one player has 33 and the other has AK and the flop comes say, 3-A-8 with no flush draw, that person with the AK is almost never going to fold with action and some good money can be made here. I always play a small to mid PPs with a BB or even a standard raise (definitely fold if reraise action is going on though) because when you do hit, it is way +EV unless in the uncommon case of set over set. That only happens on average less than 1% of the time so unless you absolutely think your opponent has a higher set, that's something you can't worry about.

| i was at a table last night seemed every other hand there was two three's on the flop, thought if i get three's i am gonna be so happy. finally i did but before i got to act, there was a raise, reraise and allin, so i let em go, flop A33 of course. still 33 allin no way, see flop for cheap, flop it or drop it. |

| One of my favorite poker quotes is of Doyle Brunson calling Patric Antonious with pocket 3's when he caught him trying to bully the table one too many times , Antonious said "How could you call that bet?" , Brunson said "How could you make that bet ? We aren't playing solitaire " , lmaooo , anyway yeah ya gotta love a set lol , gl |

| Yeah I get people trying to bully all the time and then when I finally do call and win against them, they say: "How could you call that?" And I just say: "The same way you could bet with nothing!" ![]()
