Default European Vs American players

I haven't played that long about a year and mostly online.. thats my only real experience... but when I am playing I notice... that European will play a lot of what I call and some Americans call rags.. Before WWIII starts I'm not saying Europeans are bad players or anything negative.. It's just I think they tend to be very aggresive and will bluff a lot more often holding rags...
Maybe it's me and my passive/aggresive style of playing but I tend to see Americans play more of the premium cards Aces/faces....I know I do

My question is do you think there is something to be said for aggresively playing weak preflop hands? What is your reasoning? Do Europeans have a slightly different attitude about starting hands? I have heard it said that Europeans believe Americans place to much value on Aces...

I'd really like to view posts from everyone... from tight and aggresive American and European players.

Interesting, putting all Europeans into one basket. I'm a UK player and feel that Germans, Dutch and East European players are overly aggressive, US players tend to be solid (old school) and Brits at the moment seem to be chancers. I think that the mix adds to the enjoyment and it's sometimes possible to get a read on players if you know their geographical location. Mainly, my help comes from player notes.

The one thing is I have noticed is with the time difference. I am always trying to play catch up. The European's buzz is hours ahead of mine!

ok philjj... you have a valid point i probably could have made that distinction.. I do notice that it is mostly germans and dutch players who tend to be the most aggresive...
