| I think I watched Raymer play quite possibly THE most Passive game I've ever seen him play. I was watching the Heads Up Championships tonight, and Raymer was up against Little, and Little just dominated the entire game. I don't think I saw Raymer raise except maybe once, and he ended up getting re-raised and folded almost instantly.....Raymer went on to lose the match. I dunno...when it comes down to heads up, it almost seems like Haschem would be an easy favorite to win over Raymer these days........just seems like Raymer's lost his "oomf" - He used to be a killer, but these days he almost seems depressed every time he plays ![]()

| I don't know, maybe he was just having a bad day. I mean, we all have those days. But to base his future performances on one instance is not right. I mean, Raymer and Hachem are the best winners of the Main Event recently. I wouldn't say Raymers reads are Negreanu like, but he does have ice in his vains. But Hachem is a more standard, typical player. |

| No, no, no...not at all...I am not judging Raymer simply from the one match I saw him play the other night...that would be silly...I'm just saying that this seems to be his pattern over the past year or so every time I've seen him in an event, he's much less aggressive than he used to be, conversely he's been very passive, and rather than trying to re-raise and be aggressive like before, he elects to fold more often than not, or smooth call and end up getting pushed out of more pots than he used to. I remember back when the "fossil man" was the talk of the shows.....now though, it just seems like he's kind of taken a back seat to other more aggressive and action-based players. Maybe he's just slowing down, maybe he's trying a new style...I don't know...but he's definitely not the same Raymer I remember watching in the past.

| In my opinion, from the poll list of poker players, Greg Raymer and Joseph Hachem are both up-and-comers in the poker world. ![]() I have noticed a few famous people (actors, musicans, etc.) that have been playing in the WSOP events over the past few years. (They can afford to travel and pay the entry fees.) Sully Erna from the rock band, Godsmack is currently in Event 2: NLHE. Good Luck, Sully! ![]() ![]() Rounders 2: Filmed in Boston this time. Matt Damon and Sully Erna playing heads up NLHE. Heheheh. ![]()

| Well if Raymer is trying a new style, obviously it's not working for him. But if you won a few million on a tournament, wouldn't you sit back, chill, and let your sponsers pay for all your events and online playing? Maybe he's not playing too conservative, maybe he's playing the Pro life. ![]() Yeah, Greg Raymer and Joseph Hachem are the two up and comming amatures from the poll, but I have gotten many arguments for every single player on that list. Including Jamie Gold. And it looks like someone voted for Jerry Yang and Chris Moneymaker! What are your thoughts on this? But there are plenty of good actors/musicians that are getting into poker. Just look at Jennifer Tilly.:P |

| I could see a fan of moneymaker voting for him in this spot, he after all is the godfather of the poker boom, even though I know he isnt one of the best, I still like to sit and watch him play cards. whoever voted for Yang was either Yang himself or a joke vote |
