Default Anybody having problems with Full Tilt cash withdrawals?

I'm trying to cash out some money from Full Tilt but they seem to have a problem with their checks. They've been bouncing believe it or not.

Has anyone else experienced this from FTP?

If so what are my other options since they've taken away the bank transfer option.

Any help would be appreciated!!!

Default FTP problems

You should definetly contact them in writing.
You should be entitled to at least twice the check amount by law.
Be persistant!
Good Luck

Checks are entirely too much hassle right now from Full Tilt. There's even reports of checks clearing but the funds don't clear and you got more weeks of hassle.

Check out the Full Tilt Cash pickup option. Used it three times now, LOVE IT I get cash in hand, 3 days after I make the withdrawal!

What I don't understand is, if they are able to pay out cash in hand, then how is it their checks are bouncing? lol

It could possibly have to do with teh current situation involving US gambling laws and such. I noticed the a while back on a couple of my deposits that they were linked to different accounts/phone numbers. They might be getting crafty with the bank system to stay out of trouble.

But again, the checks/amounts aren't likely the issue while they are giving away cash. I've heard of a few people taking the cash option already and they have no issues.

Some of the processors have gotten into legal trouble so they are having to move money around to different processors. Those checks are only gtd by the processors not FT. If the processor has their assets frozen, then the Checks become almost worthless until FT refunds your money into your account. The Cash Pickup by passes the check process and allows you to just get the cash in hand, and depsoit that cash directly into your bank account without having to wait for it to clear and possibly having the funds transfer reserved and getting charges from your bank because of it.

Yes, they dont want to admit it, but there has been some seizures by the government of BoDOg accounts scattered throught banks.(for sports betting online)
My checks have always cleared, and have always been from a diff bank, vegas or california. So, just as with the UIEGA or whatever act, paranoia sets in for bank management, and they are not so quick to process funds dealing with poker sites. That being said, Cash pickup the way to go now, do you think its a coincidence that this option just srpung up?
Fulltilt is awful at keeping its users up to date, they just implement changes with no explanation. They have no functional PR department whatsoever.

Thanks for the replies guys/gals.

So how does this Cash Pickup thing work?

Do they charge a fee? Is it convienent?

More importantly, is that the best option? I'm not going to trust that their check will be honored.

I just don't want to deal with that hassle to be honest. Waiting two weeks for a check only to have it bounce and have my bank charge me for that bounced check is not good business IMO.

Is PokerStars experiencing the same problems?

Can you find a wal-mart? then the Cash Pickup is ultra convient I believe there's a small hit to your rakeback (same with check) but it is worth it to see your cash in hand, 3 days after you withdrawal!!

There are no Wal-marts where I live.

I heard that it's through Moneygram...if that's the case I'm sure I can find one in my area.

Thanks again for the input guys!

Yea it is through Moneygram, I just withdrew money this week. Go to Moneygram's website for a close location to you, and in my case I called the bank and asked about fees and such, which they had no fees for receiving money, which is very nice.

There is no check option currently.

the only option is cash pickup from moneygram. it is a better option anyway. although the minimum is $250 not $100
i presume they will find someone to process checks eventually.

this is very strange and annoying though.

who are the people in the government going around enforcing these things? why dont they have anything better to do?

if you go to the moneygram web site and plug in your zip code it will find a moneygram place. they are all over.

anyway, soon moneygram will not be an option. none of these alternative options have lasted more than a few months. try to leave as little as possible in your account. as little as possible in any poker account. or preferably get a dual citizenship.

Yep like I've said time and again, the US Gov't doesn't like any money they can't have 100% control over 24/7. Honestly it wouldn't shock me if "Big Brother" was a member of every poker-related site on the web.

I requested a check to be sent about a week ago. Yesterday I got an email from Full Tilt saying my check had been delayed and will now be processed early next week. For my trouble, they deposited $25 into my account. Seems more than fair to me. In fact, I hope they screw up every time!

well they told me: here is $25+$25+$25 for bothering you but your only cash out option is via moneygram.

i guess they like you better.

but serioulsy who are these government people trying to shut down internet poker transactions? who are these people? justice department or something?

i also wish marijuana was legal. holland is too dark and cold. and nothing on tv there. although if i'm high i can watch anything on tv.

Thanks for the help guys/gals.

I guess I'll have to use the cash pick up option and eat the rakeback deduction that FTP will take out.

It's worth it though as I'd rather not take a chance on a bounced check.

There is a rakeback deduction for requesting a paper check as well.

Default Withdrawals at fulltilt for uk users

Just tried to withdraw for the first time at Fulltilt poker, to find that without setting up a neteller account, my only other option is to have a cheque sent, which it seems would take an eternity to receive, 15 working days, then i'd have to present the cheque, to be cleared, and no doubt have to pay some sort of handling charge, so in other words, it would take a month and cost me to do so, yet they are able to take the deposit from my card within seconds and cannot pay it back to the same card at all ?????

Anyone else having similar problems ??
