| I was wondering if anyone has found items in the Full Tilt store that are priced such that it justifies using the points instead of your rakeback funds. For example, they have the Garmin Streetpilot C550 for 91,900 points. At $0.005/point, that is the equivalent of $459.50. A quick web search, however, shows numerous vendors selling is for around $200. The Sony Handycam DCRDVD610 Camcorder is 100,000, or the equivalent of $500. It can easily be found retailing for $350. Can anyone suggest a product or products that make using the points worth it? Thanks for any responses. |

| I know this is going to sound silly, but after reading your question I decided to check Ebay for online poker items, and lo and behold there are TONS of Full Tilt gear...and it looks legitimate because the same items I'm seeing are exactly the same as what are in the Full Tilt store! So how about save your points AND your rakeback and just get it from Ebay? ![]() Just a thought...

| Hi FranklyMrShankly, Tournament Fees are included in Full Tilt Poker rakeback. It will appear as a deduction to your rakeback. The name of this deduction is Player Added deuction. Player Added – Money Full Tilt has to add to tournaments. For example, if there is a $10,000 guaranteed tournament and Full Tilt only gets enough buy ins for $9,000, they split the remaining $1,000 by the players in the tournament.

| Thank you all for your replies. It seems that the general consensus is that it is beneficial to have either points or rakeback. Obviously, cash is the preferred choice. Once again, thank you rakeback for this service! Has anyone found any justification for using the points instead of getting the rakeback? Is there even one item offered that is cheaper than simply getting the cash from rakeback and buying it yourself? I wish I could at least transfer the worthless points to someone without rakeback. |

| If you look at how much you have to spend/play just to earn those points, you'll find that everything would be cheaper if just bought for cash elsewhere. As for transferring points, I dunno if that's even possible, but my FT account does not have rakeback attached to it as I don't play for money there anymore, so if you figure it out, I'd be glad to lend a helping hand if needed. ![]()

| Use the FTP points to get into satellites. Like one costs 275 and its only a single sit and go. You win that and you are in another multi table tournament where first place is 1500+ ;D -Chris |

| Am I missing something here? The last time I played Fulltilt was over 6 months ago but after getting my rakeback, I still kept all my points, so I presume I could spend them at their shop if I choose or would I be losing future rakeback? |
| ||||
| No Riverstars you don't lose future rakeback, but you are charged $0.005 of your earned rakeback per full tilt point that you spend. See above posts... ![]()

I have no money on Fulltilt. If I had 10K points and spent them I couldn't possibly pay $0.005 per point. I've always presumed I could still spend the points if I wanted though. Maybe I'm wrong here?. Or would $0.005 x points spent get deducted from any future rakeback earnt? Sorry if I'm being confusing, it's late here in UK ![]() |

| Oh in that case I am pretty sure you will receive negative rakeback then.

| Hi RiverstarsVictim, liladypokerpro is correct, you will have a negative rakeback in this case so you will need to generate more rakeback in order to receive it ![]()

| No. Unless you dump them to someone on the table.

| Is it me being silly, or am I right in thinking if you buy an item for say, 10,000 points, meaning 10,000x0.005=$50, doesnt that just come out of your gross rake, meaning you're actually only losing 27% of that $50, ie $13.50?? |
