| Ongame Network has just released new features to their poker software What do you think of these changes? Please see below for detailed descriptions of new features and screenshots. From poker rooms on offer at rakeback.com Betsson ($1,500 sign up bonus) and Eurobet ($900 sign up bonus) belong to the Ongame network. Both have a nice sign up bonus for new players, so you can go check out these changes and make money at the same time ![]() New Features Description: Automatic Sit-in, Hand Evaluation, 4-Color Deck
1. Automatic Sit-in Straightforward Sit-in This is a brief overview, outlining the procedure of sitting in on the new clients. A description of the differences with the current sit-in procedure will follow. When entering a table the user takes a seat, by clicking an available seat. ![]() When taking a seat the user will be prompted to reserve money. This is no different to the current sit-in procedure. ![]() The player is sat in as soon as the money is reserved, you don?t need to press the sit-in button (note the sit-out button instead of the sit-in button). ![]() It is now possible to configure ?Auto-Post Blinds? and ?Wait for Big Blind? (see above) up to the point where the user is dealt in. In the case above (?Auto-Post? enabled, ?Wait for Big Blind? disabled) the user will not wait until sitting in big blind position, he/she will be dealt in directly when this hand is over. Sit-in without Auto-post If ?Auto-Post? is disabled the user will be prompted to accept blind payments manually. ![]() Here the user has disabled ?Auto-Post? and a new hand has started. ?Post? will simply pay the blind and deal the user in. ?Wait? makes the user wait until he/she sits in big blind position. ?Auto-Post Blind? will pay the blind and activate ?Auto- Post?, paying all future blinds automatically (until the option is disabled again). Differences between the old and new Sit-in Procedure The sit-in procedure remains the same until the money has been reserved. After that the procedure starts to differ in a few important aspects. First of all, the dialog prompting the user to configure ?Auto-Post? and ?Wait for Big Blind? and clicking ?sit in? has been removed in the new procedure. This picture is from the old version. ![]() In the new sit-in procedure the user is sat in immediately and presented with the ?Please wait to be dealt in? dialog, where ?Auto-Post? and ?Wait? can be configured until the user is sat in. ![]() In the old procedure no dialog was visible at all between the user had sat in and where he was dealt in. Next, notable difference occurs when the user is prompted about paying big blind out of position. Note that this case only arises when both ?Auto-Post? and ?Wait? are disabled. In the old procedure the prompt would ask the player to pay the blind, sit out or activate auto post (paying the blind). Sitting out would take the user back to the state where he had just reserved money. ![]() In the new procedure the ?sit out? alternative is not available. Instead the user can choose to ?Wait?. This is essentially the same as sitting out, activating ?Wait for Big Blind? and sitting in again, but with a single click. Graphically the user will go back to the ?Please wait to be dealt in? dialog, with the ?Wait for Big Blind? option enabled. ![]() When the user is prompted to pay a mandatory blind (big blind/small blind in position) there is no ?Wait? alternative. At this point the user must sit out if he doesn?t choose to pay the blind. Should he choose to sit out he will be presented with the sit in dialog just like in the old sit-in procedure. However, once he has sat in again he will be able to configure ?Auto-Post? and ?Wait? up to the point where he is dealt in. ![]() 2. Hand Evaluation Overview WPC 12 displays the best hand that the user currently has. The hand is displayed in a sign at the center of the table, e.g.: ![]() The hand evaluation is active in all game types except Omaha hi/low and 5-card draw (we will have hand evaluation for these in future releases). Note that the hand evaluation only evaluates hands that could be full poker-hands, i.e. has 5 cards or more. E.g. if the user gets a pair on the pocket cards, this will not display in the hand evaluation sign. The sign will not be visible until the user has a full hand, e.g. on the flop. The hand will then be evaluated regardless, even if it?s only a high card. Should the user get a better hand during the turn or the river, this will naturally lead to the evaluation updating accordingly. Preferences The user can turn hand evaluation on and off in the table preferences. He simply navigates to the preferences -> table tab, and sets the ?Show Hand Value? to the desired state. ![]() 3. 4-Color Deck Overview ?4-Color Deck? has been available in WPC during the current release (release 11). As of release 12 it will also be available in JPC. ?4-Color Deck? makes it easier for the user to identify the suit and rank of each card. When activating ?4-Color Deck?, all clubs will be colored green and all diamonds will be colored blue. Also, all cards will have larger symbols, indicating Standard Cards, Clubs suit: ![]() 4-Color Deck, Clubs suit: ![]() ?4-Color Deck? is activated under the ?Preferences? tab in JPC. ![]() 4. Ring Games now called Cash Games Overview Usability tests have shown that the name ?Ring Games? is confusing, making it hard for first time users to navigate the lobby. Therefore the term ?Ring Game? is changed to the more intuitive ?Cash Game?. Old client, ?Ring Games?: ![]() New Client, ?Cash Games?: ![]() So, what do you think about these changes?
