Default Sportsbook Poker Customer Service

I recently tried depositing a large amount of money to Sportsbook Poker as I heard their sight is fun and promotes a friendly environment. Upon deposit the third party client employed: "Planetcall.net" brought up a website that advised me to click the button below to authorize payment. There was no button below, so after a few minutes I decided to back out and try again. I repeated filling out all the same deposit information and again it brought me to this screen saying, click below. So I decided after a few minutes that maybe I should reload the page. Again nothing. I chalked all this up to crappy servers and a poor software development team and went on about my business for the night.

I woke up this morning to three charges on my account for the certain amount and my account was closed due to suspected fraud. Obviously I called Sportsbook account information and to make a VERY long conversation short, THREE incompetent associates and supervisors informed me that this type of "server failure is very common" (although they could not explain how in 5 years I have not had such problems with Full Tilt, Poker Stars, Paradise, or Absolute Poker) and (after much deliberating) that my money would be cancelled and returned to my bank account.

They made no attempt to keep my money on the website, even though I insisted they keep one deposit, and when I mentioned that they would no longer be receiving deposits from my account or any of my friends, the supervisor proceeded to thank me and disconnected the line.

After a few conversations with fellow users of Sportsbook I have come to realize that this poor customer service is common and I have been advised to avoid any transactions with Sportsbook and its affiliates. I would encourage everyone else to do the same.

I agree with the OP. Although I don't play poker through sportsbook, I do wager on sports through Sportsbook and their customer service is really bad.

I had a hard time getting them to send me a check. They told me they sent a check but I never received it. This went on for a few months before I finally received the check. I had to call them 3 times before I finally received the check. Every time I checked with them they said they sent the check and it would come within 7-10 business days but it never did.

They are the worst in my opinion.
