| I now have real money on PokerNordica because of a win... but should I just cash it out or should I try playing on the site. Because I don't have Windows, I run the client under wine on a BSD *nix workstation. And the client does not run well. The pros for keeping it on the site involve the smaller amount of players and the fact that I have rakeback on the site. I am also exceptionally lazy and it's just so easy to leave it on the site and play there. But the cons are the software being flakey on me and the lobby crashing and not coming back (without a restart of the client) after 5-10 minutes. As long as I am on a table when it happens, I can stay there. But I am not able to do a whole lot. Some of the other cons involve certain features of the site crashing the program completely. For example, I can't change my avatar... it crashed the program. I can't open tournament details... crashes. I can't open certain other things (forget exactly which) without it crashing the whole thing. And it bugs me to have money on a client that frustrates me constantly. Right now, I am just leaving it on there and giving myself time. I don't want to request a withdrawal and then change my mind and decide I really wanted to keep it on there. How many sites do you have your bankroll spread out on? This makes a third site for me. Do you like to keep it spread out or all on one site? What do you think are the advantages of keeping it on one site and/or keeping it on several sites?

| I have 3 as well right now. None are uber substantial, but enough to keep me playing for a good while...I like having a little here and there just so when I get too bored with one site, or get burnt out, I can change to another. The good thing is every site is a little different.....the table/tourney formats, the graphics, and of course the players themselves, so if you have a bad run on one, try changing to another. If the run continues, then it's just obvious it's time to take a break. ![]() Since technical problems are your biggest issue, it might just be best to cash it out and put it towards some other client where you have better usage. I will tell you, though, if you request a check, Nordica charges $15 to withdraw.....

| I have money on 4 sites, one is barely anything, but 4 nonetheless. I like having money on more than one site so I can mix it up a little. If I'm running bad I'll switch sites for a little while and see if that helps, which is probably more mental than anything. But in your case I would be tempted to take it off at some point because of the issues. Nordica is a great site, but since you can't run a lot of it I don't know how good it will be. |

| Frob......Just ignore him......I have seen a lot of posts by him that are "less than intelligent" responses....probably just some young bumpkin with nothing better to do than be a smart ass ![]()

But, the truth be known... once you adjust to something, you find it very hard to change your entire work process back. At this point, I feel almost lost when trying to do anything beyond the basics on a Windows computer. And I don't have the need or the time to go back. Even though I could do it for free essentially because my friend will go out of his way to get me a free legal copy if I would just bend my knee. ![]() Edit: I might keep the money on there long enough to try that 6c tournament you were talking about liladypokerpro. I am nuts for super low buy-in tournaments. Nothing is more fun than 3-4 beers, a good playlist of music, and a tournament where you're only out a few pennies if things go badly.

| Too bad your machine did not crash when we were heads up (I am 'SixEleven' at Nordica). lol. Good game. Keep it, a future upgrade from Nordica may help. It would probably cost you a good percentage to cash out anyways. I admire you are not on Windows for work, I am a programmer and we use windows, oh well. Later, |

| Yeah, right now I am keeping it. I'll let it sit for a bit and possibly play a bit with it. Besides, why take money out now... I still need to steal 1st from you again this Sunday. ![]()

| I prefer to keep a little n a few different sites. I have 10 sites I play on, 6 of which have some BR on them. Nordica is one of those with cash, I enjoy playing there with the lower number of players it seems to be a bit more skilled players than some of the well publisized sites. |
