Default Can someone Recommend a Good poker show?

I have scanned many TV channels and I just can never seem to find a Poker channel or at the least a card game show, Can anyone recommend any good shows that they have seen in the past? all I can ever find is one time documentaries on card games occasionally. I would really appreciate the help.

I'd recommend High Stakes Poker on GSN network.

My absolute favorite! Forget WPT/WSOP etc, this is the most entertaining poker tv-program for sure.

Yeah High Stakes has a lot going for it, although I like tournament coverages too. High Stakes is a bit high on melodrama sometimes for my taste. WPT-coverages is what most people stumble upon first, I guess, although I like the WSOP-coverages more. Chad and McChkchchkchck are pretty irritating but they aren't as overly dramatic as the guys who do the commentary on the WPT.

I remember hearing something about Playboy producing a series. Something in the line of "The Women of Poker". Might be interested

Poker After Dark on NBC at 2:00 am in the DC area is the best IMHO. You get to see a muck larger number of hands and often have interesting conversations to listen to. DVR it though, there seem to be an extra large number of commercials.

I agree I like the Poker After Dark shows...they are more like a fun home game for pros, with the occasional amateur thrown in the mix...it makes for good entertainment.
