Drill str8 down, amass the bounses and gems, get a mid range gas tank before you get ANYTHING else. Then work on upgrades in this order: Drill, Storage, Engine, Armor. If your careful, the Armor should be the last of your worries. Once you get below 4K feet, time to upgrade the heat turbines or something like that, they reduce heat dmg and if you find a gas pocket, you will need the best heat turbines and one of the best armor in order to survive. once you get to 4-5K feet, you need to start carrying with you: Backup Gas tanks, Wraps back to the surface (because once your this far down, it is impossible to drill str8 down and you can stay down alot longer with the wrap out. If you are staying below 5K feet, carry armor repair kits with you, they are A MUST!! DO NOT TRAVEL BELOW 5K feet without them!!

Armor or heat turbines do not protect you against gas pockets; they are always instant death. Gas pockets are also invisible, so any new players, you must never use your drill after this depth and only mine by using dynamites.

if you have one of the top 2 armors and you have the best heat turbines, then yes you can survive as long as your armor is maxed out I've survived tons of them using that combination but you have SUCH little health left.

The thing about dynamite is, you gotta position it just right or you may still have to drill thru rocks to get to the valuable gems.

I've never survived one Must be sure next time to get all the best gear. Its frustrating to play that far and get insta killed.

hehe I was very surpised with 2nd best armor and best heat turbine to survive one with like 5 or 6% health LOL
