| We are thinking of setting up our own tournament league system, and are asking you for input. Tell us what features you would like to see in a league, and what aspects are bad or frustrating? Should the structure be simple or complex? Just freerolls, real money, or mix of them? Please tell us your thoughts on these and other subjects that come in to mind.

I definitely would like to see this happen. Some cash tourneys would be good too, small buy ins, say no more than $10 so that most, if not all players can afford it. Also what might be a good idea is to have double the tourney fee....... say if tour is $5 + .50 fee, make fee $1 so that the Poker Room gets half and rakeback gets half....... use the extra fees collected to hand out various prizes.... say you could use part of it for a best monthly finish.... part for some kind of bad beat jackpot, etc..... And just for me please try to have a tourney on a Monday or Tuesday sometime...... I can never make it on the weekends lol.

How about including tourneys where you can use your "site chips", it will encourage more people to check into the site and contribute regularly ![]()

![]() Weekday tournaments could be an option, especially if they would be timed to have one tournament at US evening in a room that accepts Americans, and another at Europe evening at a room that does not accept Americans. The selection of rooms that do take US players is unfortunately small. It could be an option in the future to buy a ticket to an exclusive tournament with chips.

Gee I always do this find what I have already asked in the feedback section. So I am totally all for this and everyone has great ideas. I have a few to share, mine is concern with teams I reckon we should gather our own teams, if someone wants to start one themselves they will have to fufill a few requirements such as using the blogger to introduce themselves, sumit there requirements and register the team with rakeback. That way you guys know what teams are out there and who you need to correndspond with, makes less work for you's and more people get to be more active the blog sections gets used and we all have fun. So all the best and I hope to see it grow GOOD LUCK all on and off the felt

Bring on the league. i think everyone would agree that a league will allow the communty to get to know each other better and if there is a mix of frerolls and small buy ins that should make everyone happy. maybe you could have a sigh up fee to be in the league and use that money for year end results. ![]()

i really like the idea of turbo tourneys. prevents sitters and shortens tourney time if in the evening for those who have to work next morning. ![]()

i think a league would be awesome. i would like to c a mix of freerolls and buy ins. variation in games and rules would also make it fun. stuff like knockout bountys and double stacks or several players like the ceo would have a $10-$20 knockout bounty. i also agree there should be either A TOC (tournament of Champions) for all the leagues winners of individual events or a point system where a certain number of individuals who played well throughout would go to a league championship to crown and ultimate winner. also i hope they include games like HORSE and Razz and other less popular types of poker ?Just one ? what site would this league run in. Fulltilt hopefully, maybe pokerstars

I think that there are already a couple of really good ideas floating around. Using chips to buy into special tournaments would be awesome. Also we could split it into real money tournaments and freeroll tournaments. That way those who can afford to play real money can but those who have limited bankrolls can do freerolls. I realize this is more work for the admin but at the end the top x amount of each can have a playoff to determine the overall winner.

Buyins and freerolls and I would defently get into the buyins more if I can ever build a bankroll. The factory I was working for is closing so cash flow is a little low right now until my unemployment kicks In.

A league sounds good to me, freerolls and buy ins are also good. Always think a tournament is better if you've paid money into it. ![]() Would like to see tournaments range from super turbo to deep stack. Also would like to see a kind of cup competition for a sit and go tournament. Where everyone who enters gets put into a 9/10 seater sit and go with top 2 or something progressing into the next round, with points rewarded for how far you get. Depending on numbers entering this could be played out over a number of days.
