you can buy extra ftp points like 5000 or 10000 for ironman medals. im just wondering if you buy 5000 or 10000 points for your medals and they credit these to your ftp account will the equivalent in rakeback for these points be put on your rake back account or do they not count for rake back since they werent gained at the tables?

We only got info about this deduction connected with FTP points: Used Points – Full Tilt Points used on the site or in the store are deducted at a rate of $0.005 per point from your rakeback. So I guess that Full Tilt will not deduct anything from your Full Tilt rakeback for buying points for medals, but anyway if you will get points for medals and if you will some how use them this will be deducted as I already said before.

ok i get that but will you actually receive extra rakeback for having received an extra 5k in points into your account or will that not gain you extra rake back. i know if you use points in the store y ou get deducted but i was jsut wondering if you recieve more points for your medals if you will get mroe rakback money

used point deduction applies to tournies where the entry fee is ft points?
not that i will ever play in one, but i am just wondering.

nope you wont gain any rakeback for the points, because rakeback is earned by the table rake, not by points.

points are also earned by table rake, but the bonus points from iron man medals have no rake value to them, so we just get the deduction when we spend them.

Hi Jonathank, thats why this deduction is called Used Points. Full Tilt Points used on the site or in the store will be deducted. So if you will use them to enter a tourney it will mean that you will use them at the website

if you do something like that get tokens use them get the rakeback from the token tourneys.
the 75 dollar sng pays 1.62 in rakeback plus you can win a couple hundred in it.

ok thanks for the help guys good sugegstions. in reality buyin points just kills you with the medals cause if you use them it kills your rake back even tho those points werent gained from the tables.
