Default FullTilt Points/Medals/Tokens

In the rakeback.com summary of deductions from rakeback it shows a deduction of $.005 ($5./1000) for every point used in the store or elsewhere.

I notice on the FullTilt forum that some players "sell" there FullTilt points to other players. They actually make deals with other players to buy items in the store in return for cash. - usually for $4-5/1000. When this happens is there a deduction from rakeback to the seller or buyer?

With FullTilt medals you have a medals store to buy one of 3 things. A bonus, FullTilt points or tokens ($26 and $75).

I imagine the bonus must be cleared the same as the sign up bonus and therefore is a deduction from rakeback when it's credited.

A token is a tourney entry and cannot be exchanged for anything else. Is there a rakeback deduction for this token when it's redeemed?

There is a rakeback deduction for "overlay" in a tourney. eg. - Guaranteed $10,000 but only $9000. is put up by players - players rake back deduction $1000. divided by number of players. Is there a rakeback deduction for iron man freerolls?

Is there a rakeback deduction for other freerolls? - new player freeroll, etc.

Default FTP Medals

If i redeem my medals for lets say, the 600$ bonus for 3000 medals.... does that come out of my rakeback? I figured if I get the FTP points with the medals, I will have to deduct rakeback when I do use the points. If the medals don't count against you with rakeback, then why doesn't everyone just save for the money packages with the medals?

I am by no means an authority, but I think all bonuses from FTP affect your rakeback, regardless of how the bonus was earned. Mods, please correct me if I'm wrong.

I am not really sure about this case, maybe Mollila knows something about it, I think he will answer to that thread soon.

With this case its clear. There will be a Bonus deduction for sure. Any bonuses released into your account will be deducted, and you will see that in our Rake Tracking.

I am not sure again but I think there will be no deduction for the tokens, anyway there is no such deduction listed in our deductions list.

We have an official answer about it from Full Tilt:
"The medals that are used to gain entry into a tournament will not effect a players rakeback. But if the player uses the medals for entry into a guaranteed tournament and the guarantee isn't met then it will go down under Player Added deduction."

Quote:

I think there will be no deductions for freerolls, we also do not have it listed in deductions.
If Iam telling something wrong then Mollila will correct me, so I recommend you to wait for his answer too

Whoever makes a purchase with points get the point deduction.

These are replies from Full Tilt:
If a player uses medals to buy a cash bonus then this works in the same way a deposit bonus would work so that would count as a bonus deduction.

The medals that are used to gain entry into a tournament will not effect a players rakeback. But if the player uses the medals for entry into a guaranteed tournament and the guarantee isn't met then it will go down under Player Added.

Any money added to a tournament by Full Tilt goes to Player Added deductions.

FullTilt has offerred a $5,000. freeroll this weekend to players who made there first deposit in April. - I qualify. If only 200 people would enter, it would be a $25. value per player.Obviously FullTilt added all of the money to this freeroll.

Assuming the example above, if I play in this tourney, will there be a "Player Added Deduction" of $25.?

According to what they have been saying, there should be as they are adding $25 per player to the tournament.

Just an update.

So I played the freeroll at FullTilt on Sunday. It was actually a $20,000 freeroll for Canadians who made their first deposit in April.

Only 161 people entered. $20,000 divided by 161 = $124.22 value.

FullTilt is showing this as a rakeback deduction meaning $124.22 times 27% =$33.54.

This $33.54 is how much I actually lose in rakeback.

Was it worth it? Of course. I basically received a $124. buy in for $33. On top of that I folded my way to the money when I was short stacked on the bubble and received $150. for 40th place.

Another update,

I qualified for one of the iron man tourneys and had the choice of medals or tourney entry.

I took the iron man tourney entry. - I just wanted to let everyone know that there IS a rakeback deduction for participating in one of the iron man freerolls.

people are paying $5 for 1000 full tilt points?
where are these people? the points are otherwise basically worthless. would be great to be able to sell them.

bunch of cheap chinese crap full tilt gear. maybe electronics are ok.

iron man free rolls yes there is a deduction. but if you use the medals to buy a satellite token there is no deduction. at least not yet.

I qualified for GOLD ironman in April. I had the choice of the freeroll or 70 medals.

$26 token costs 140 medals so that means 70 medals are worth $13. The $20,000 GOLD freeroll had only 447 players. $20,000 divided by 447 = $44.74 value. But then I lose 27% rakeback on that or $12.07. So $44.74 - $12.07 = $32.67

So in summary it was almost $20. better value to play the freeroll even after rakeback ($32.67 -$13. = $19.67)

Of course this only works out if you are able to play the freeroll. Unfortunately I did not finish in the money in this one.

The Full Tilt merchandise is way better than Pstars. I have the ipod cover and everybody asks me about it at work and around. They all say it's awesome. I have a couple duffel bags, a bunch of flex fit hats, T shirts, I got my buddy the robe and sandals and he loves them, I've got the poker chips (they're ok. I've got a set of Paulson's too and they are way better)
I've got a couple of the old school posters that they don't offer anymore, mouse pads, etc.
Anyways, I got most of my stuff before they offered the electronic stuff, otherwise I probably would've gotten something way better.
The stuff is of decent quality and it arrives relatively quickly.

I have gotten shirts hats and now the Full Zip Hoodie, I think that will be a great friday night "jacket" in the spring, ordered it late last week and it is set to arrive friday by UPS. I havent checked out stars merch in awhile, but I will have 25k ftp easily by the end of the month, here comes the jersey, can stars pull the personalized jersey out of their merch dept?
