| I was just wondering how the player fees (transaction fees when you deposit) are calculated. I used to play on Pokerstarts and when I would deposit, it seemed like my transaction fees were very minimal like a few cents on a $100 or $200 deposit. I recently just started played on Full Tilt and made an initial deposit of $200. After a few days of Rake Tracking not working, now it says I have player fees of -12.85. So i would just like to know if FTP charges a higher amount than other sites, and is this a normal amount to be charged on a $200 deposit. The only other transaction i made was a withdrawal of $200 shortly afterward when I was up but then i lost the rest. Thanks. |

| Payment processors always charge their fees from poker rooms on all deposits made. It is up to the poker room if they want to pass the fees down to the player or not. Many poker rooms do not pass fees down to players at all, to encourage them to deposit money and make it as easy as possible. Some poker rooms pass on the fees to any affiliate like rakeback.com that has referred the player to the poker room, and deduct the fees from affiliate commission. Full Tilt passes on full deposit fees to affiliates, which directly affects the rakeback calculations for that player. Here are some common deposit fee examples charged by payment processors: NETeller 2.40% NETeller InstaCash 7.70% Visa 5.20% MasterCard 5.20% FirePay 3.20%

| Those were deposit fee examples given to us by one poker room. But the actual fees on your poker room may vary according to the deal they have with payment processors they use. For example Full Tilt that your question is about does not disclose their deposit fee percentages to us, claiming that it is private information between them and the processors that cannot be disclosed to third parties. Some day I might just do one test deposit per day with every processor, to find out how much the charge is Players would probably want to know this, especially ones who deposit a lot. There can be a lot of variance in the costs, and highrollers can incur even thousands per month in deposit fees alone. I recall the record deposit fees for one of our Full Tilt rakeback players was over $5000 in one month.
