Default Rakeback & Bonuses.... Question....

Could someone explain how the rakeback is affected by a reload bonus or bonus offer?

For instance, I just signed up for Full Tilt through this rakeback site. I got the full $600 sign up bonus with them. Do I earn rakeback while also earning the bonus money? Or, do I not earn any rakeback money until the bonus is cleared?

Any help would be appreciated.. I am new to this rakeback thing.

basically its like this:

Your rake is calculated by

(Total Rake x promotional percentage) - Any bonus received. So for instance, FT gives .18 for every dollar they take from you for there bonus, so in essence you are earning .09 for every dollar of rake. Which is the same as rake back, .27/1.00. So either way, clearing the bonus or getting rake, it is the same amount of money.

Ok.. that makes sense... thanks for the response.

One more question... I signed up (for rakeback) about 3 days ago, and have not heard back from this site. How do I know for sure I am earning rakeback. I thought I read that this site will e-mail me letting me know that I am earning rakeback, and any other information I need to know. I haven't got a response of anykind yet. Is there something I need to do?

Hi won_out,

You should have received an automatic email from us at the time of your rakeback registration that has further information.

We also send players an email once a rakeback deal has been confirmed.

Here is the actual formula used by Full Tilt to calculate your Net Rake:
Rake + Tournament Fees – Bonus – Player Added – Used Points – Player Fees - Fraud = Net Rake

Your FTP rake back is 27% of Net Rake

So any bonuses that are released into your account are deducted from your gross rake before the 27% rakeback is calculated.

Legend:
Rake - Money earned while playing in ring games
Tournament Fees - Fees a player pays when joining a tournament
Bonus – Bonuses a player earns
Player Added – Money Full Tilt has to add to tournaments. For example, if there is a $10,000 guaranteed tournament and Full Tilt only gets enough buy ins for $9,000, they split the remaining $1,000 by the players in the tournament.
Used Points – Full Tilt Points used on the site or in the store are deducted at a rate of $0.005 per point.
Player Fees – Transaction fees when players deposit money onto the site
Fraud - Bad credit etc.

Please see Full Tilt website FAQ for further information about Full Tilt Points, fees and bonuses.
