Default Rakeback on Pacific doesn't work

Hi to all members and rakeback admins!

This is my first and maybe my last post on this site. Yes I am on tilt, because I am trying to get this problem fixed for more than a month now...

Here is the problem:
I singed to rakeback.com through a friends link, in order to let him get this bonus rakeback of 2-10%. After doing that I used the PACIFC POKER LINK OFFERED BY RAKEBACK.COM to download the pacific poker software and afterwards to register to pacific poker.

So I registered to pacific poker and cashed in nearly 400 dollars to get the first depositors 100 dollar for free. Afterwards I earned a 35$ friend to friend bonus without even knowing who my friend is. In the beginning I thought that I got that friend to friend bonus because of registering to rakeback.com by using the friends link. However my friend hasn't registered a pacific poker account on rakeback.com!??!?!

So how did I get this bonus? Nobody knows. In the beginning I thought it is no problem but then my rakeback deal with pacific poker was denied by rakeback.com!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now after 1 month of trying to solve this problem I have to say that I am done with Rakeback.com . Nobody wants to solve that problem and delete that never wanted friend bonus and give me the bonus I registered for. The rakeback bonus!!!!!!

I phoned pacific poker about 5 times. The guys there are very friendly and really tried to help me with that problem. They also did admit that they had problems with their databse that's why they needed ONE WHOLE MONTH to find out who my affiliate actually is. They did admit that it is possible that this databse error caused the problem I am facing at the moment. After the pacific poker guys were talking to the rakeback.com manager several times, after trying to convince him that I didn't made any mistake, I only got the answer that I got a friend bonus already and that they can't do anything about it.

This is my last attempt to get the problem solve, otherwise the only thing I can do is playing on other sites that offer rakeback and use another affiliate that helps me when problems occur.

Regards

Hi RealMaster4,

I understand your feelings, but you must understand that this is not the problem with our website.

We asked our Pacific affiliate manger to explain us how this refer a friend thing is working and here is the explanation which they gave to us:

"In any case, the following two conditions may happen which result in a
player originating from an "invite a friend" tracker.

First, the way it works is such: a player enters an email address into
an invite a friend form found on our site. The email address which he
enters receives an email from us with a link (and tracking code) for the
player to download the software.

Then, two things can happen:

1. The player receives an invitation via email, clicks on the link, and
downloads the software, therefore tracked to an invite a friend tracker

Or

2. Player gets an invitation, downloads the software via an affiliate
site yet uses the email address of which the
inviting friend entered onto the form and thus, is tracked through that
email address.

I know it's confusing. But since the email address
was registered under an open "invite a friend" invitation, then the
player is automatically tracked to the friend who invited him/her."

You received a refer a friend bonus from Pacific poker, because you were reffered to Pacific poker by your friend.

They were friendly but they did not solved your problem Yes they were contacting us and we were contacting them, but after some communication they just answered that you are tracked to invite a friend, and that you cant be tracked to Rakeback.com. You must understand that everything depends on Pacific Poker they provide us with the information about the players, if they are tracked or not. Pacific poker told you that they have some error in their database or something but the only answer we received from them is that you are tracked to refer a friend thing. We also understand that this is confusing and we were telling this to Pacific. I will try once again to explain your situation to Pacific and when they will answer I will contact you.

Default RakeBack Problems At 888.com

Hi there RealMaster4

Please allow me to introduce myself - I am the forum manager at 888.com and I have stumbled across your post here and wish to help.

However, without being able to check the details of your account I personally I can not say for certain where the problem lies (but I assume it is to do with the IAF offer taking precedence over the affliate deal - IE the system believes you were invited by a friend, paid that bonus accordingly and subsequently ignores any affliate deal.

To ensure that this matter is resolved as speedily as possible, please feel free to mail me at moderator@888.com. Include your real money account username and I'll get back to you straight away.

Many thanks

Incubus1

It is really funny to hear this, because the anwer I got from Pacific Poker is that everything depends on you. They told me that they see that my affiliate is rakeback.com but that you gave me a friend to friend bonus and that rakeback.com is therefore not willing to offer that rakeback offer to me....

We are not able to award friend to friend bonuses on behalf of Pacific Poker, and have no access to their bonus system or your Pacific account information. All such bonuses are completely handled by poker rooms.

We are 100% willing to add you to the rake program, if Pacific Poker allows this.

What seems to be the problem by looking at these posts is that there is a friend to friend tag on your Pacific Poker account that overrides our affiliate tag. We'll be looking into this with Pacific.

RealMaster4: Has your friend sent you an invitation email from Pacific Poker website?

According to our Pacific Poker affiliate manager, if your friend has entered your email address to their invite a friend form, then regardless if you accept that invitation, your email address in their database and automatically tracked to your friend even though you would download and install Pacific Poker by using our affiliate link.

Basically your friend's invite to your email address would override our affiliate link, if you open your Pacific Poker account by using that same email address.

I have requested our affiliate manager to find out why you are tagged as referred by a friend.

Haven't they told you who the referring friend is?

Yes its that guy who refferred me to your site.
However, I am not longer in his friend list. It seems that I was cleared out of any databse

Our affiliate manager says she is still looking in to this, but your situation does not look good since your account is tagged as referred by your friend and not by Rakeback.com.

I understand, however pacific poker told me that they know that reakeback.com is my affiliate. I was talking to them by phone and they stated that you are my affiliate. So how could I have got the never wanted friend to friend bonus if neither one of my friends sent me a invitation nor did I get any e-mail from pacific poker before the date I joined that poker site....

Hi!

Unfortunately Incubus1 seems not to be interested in my problem since he did not reply to my e-mails for more than 10 days. Thanks for the support....
