Default screwed by rakeback and absolute poker

This is my first post! Signed up with Absolute Poker using rakeback.com
and played almost exclusively on that site in July, thinking I was racking up
some good rakeback. Well, both sites stole my money! Repeated attempts to correct the situation have gotten me NOWHERE. Apparantly, they forgot to track everything I did until
August and refuse to give me anything. What a freaking scam!

Well, the site is hardly a scam as we are all getting rakeback just fine. So, coming on here (using their own forums) to call them a scam is bad juju.

The other issue is that there have been a ton of problems with Abolute recently (none involving rakeback that I know of though), so you shouldn't be completely shocked.

Default Always Paid

I have a Rakeback account at Absolute and always have been paid by the middle of the next month, never a problem. You can track your rake, sometimes it is a few days behind, but you are never in the dark about your tracking numbers.

Rakeback delivers.

RakeBack has never scammed me. Actually when my account on FTP was closed they offered to send my rakeback on another site. I love this site, I always got my rakeback around the same time. If your having a problem I'm pretty sure its AP's fault and not rakeback's.

Agreed. Never ever had a problem. If there's one thing good to be said about Rakeback there's a million. Rakeback handles their business. Absolute poker has a less than stellar reputation, however, so before you go throwing Rakeback in the mix, weigh the information that is available to you.

I'd have to almost immediately assume that you are not giving us all the info. But that's what forums are for, voicing your opinion without actually having to tell both sides of a story, LOL.
Good luck with the complaining about not getting free money.

Default Any suggestions/

I have sent both sites all of my hand history records for the month of July so that they have record of my play. I have also had problems with Absolute when they did a software upgrade and I was locked out of 3 sitngoes. I could not play any of them, yet was charged all 3 entry fees. Is there any way that these offshore sites can be made accountable for their mistakes?

I'm guessing you should contact AP about your sit&go's problem. And you do know your going getting 30% of your rakeback so 3 sit&gos you will get about $1 to $2 depending and how big the sit&go were.

Actually the sitngo issue was completely separate. Most of my play was 2-4 O8 limit. Absolute has chosen to ignore me on ALL issues.

If your correspondence with AP is anything like your opening post here then it's hardly surprising they're ignoring you. Chill out fella, it's not the end of the world and errors do occur.

I am actually finished with both sites. Neither one gives a crap about fulfilling their sign on promises. Time to go back to reputable sites like pokerstars and fulltilt. I just hope that no one else gets taken in by the false claims made by Absolute and Rakeback.com like I did. Good luck to you all!

Considering this is the first time I've ever seen such a presumptuous and exaggerated complaint, I doubt anyone else has had, is having, or will ever have the problem you describe...seems more like poor communication is to blame, and judging from what's been posted here up to this point, I wouldn't lay the entirety of the blame on either AP or Rakeback...but, that's neither here nor there. Whatever you choose to do is of course up to you, and nobody can make you believe what you don't want to believe, so all that can be said is good luck in the future.

I'm with lady on this one.

It sounds like very poor communication here. So far, every problem that has been presented looks to have been handled very quickly by the rakeback staff.

Besides, my rakeback comes in just fine
