Default So how does this rakeback stuff work?

I played a bunch back a few months ago and my rakeback was supposed to be sent to an account I have with pokerstars, or at least I thought. The original rakeback was from FTP and I haven't seen anything yet. I'm not playing on UB and should be getting rakeback at the end of the month, but I'm not sure if I'll see these funds or not... so I'm just not sure how this all works.

The rake back goes to the account you played on to accumlate rake.

Like if you played on FTP, under bob101, and you accumlated $100 in net rake, you'd get $27 dollars to bob101.

There is no rakeback for pokerstars here. And you can't get rake back at the end of the month if you don't play. You get 30% of the rake that you build up after the month. If you dont play you don't get any rake back.

Nino is right, there are no rakeback deals here for PokerStars....however, if you refer a new member to rakeback, and they generate rake under your referral, then you can choose to have the commission money sent to PokerStars as one of many options.

This is what I chose. I'm not stupid, I've generated money from playing a significant amount. Sometimes forums are really annoying when people assume you are an idiot.

No one was assuming anything, jeez lighten up...was only trying to help...given your original post, it was not clear if you were talking about your rakeback or rakeback generated by a referral....... Your rake will not be paid to PokerStars...only referral rake can be paid to PokerStars. That is all I was saying....yeesh....

You are an idiot. You said you played a bunch and chose Pokerstars as your method of payment which is impossible. It's not offered. When these nice people explained that to you in a very simple manner, you snapped at them and you still can't understand that your original post is an impossiblity. People like you make forums annoying.

I wasn't talking to you or about you in regards to thinking I was an idiot.

Here, to make things more clear for everyone, this is the statement in which I was referring. A special thanks for letting me know that I can't get rake back unless I pay rake by playing poker.

LMAO Okay...you quoted my message in your earlier reply, thus making it very apparent who the comment was directed toward, as follows:

Anyway, please, in the future just try to be a little more courteous to the people who are only trying to answer your posts as simply and helpfully as possible. The mods are not always available for instant replies, so those of us who take the opportunity to try to help should not be bashed for it....we're only trying to look out for fellow members....

Once again, the first part "This is what I chose." was directed toward you. The rest was directed toward the person who told me twice within 3 sentences that you must generate rake to get rakeback.

Ahh okay I see...perhaps to clear up further confusion a multi-quoted message would better justify your cause That way, you can pick out bits of each person's post and reply to them in sequence, to assure no one mistakenly thinks they are getting the e-finger

Yes, a multi-quoted message would have been the way to go. I think when I wrote that response, I was too tired to mess with it or something.

It's entirely possible...there have been plenty of those times for myself as well Just glad it got sorted out.

Speaking of which, did you figure out what happened with your account?

Yes, I just misunderstood that the payment options was for only referral payouts. So I reloaded FTP and saw the money sitting quietly in my account

Wyte cleared it up with the first post. I just got really frustrated with the "you have to play to get rakeback." I've spent 4 hours on the phone with tech support about a situation with some electronics which I fully understand how to operate, and they have been treating me like I'm an idiot, so I just had little patience with that comment.

Right on, good deal! Now all you gotta do is get some buddies to sign up under your referral and you'll be able to use that Poker Stars option after all
