But how will Econ build his roll without it??! He wins like 10 buyins every week from it!

I'm sure he's finding other ways to run hot besides placing in 90% of the PTOTWs.

Frob used to have the total counts, but I believe Frob was ahead of me in PTOTW totals. I'm not sure where the standings were recently though and how much econ had moved up.

    Long live PTOTW.

P.S., I definitely like how most of us still call him Econ. grimReaper just doesn't fit.

Ldo. I also played in the PTOTW way before it was at FTP and before deals were allowed. I can remember making a deal and just using the honor system when we played it back on Nordica. Good times.

What's funny is before my first PTOTW in early February I was so nervous. It was 3 people: you, al4waysontilt and me, and I couldn't believe I was going to play 3-way winner take all for $100. Then you mentioned a 3-way chop, which was very relaxing. Good times.

Never knew that I'd pretty much play every single PTOTW and cash in a good fraction in them. That's running good in life. I wish I had an EV graph for life, though I'd probably be around expected.

Haha. I'm glad you remember that. I can remember being nervous about playing in it way back, but all the PTOTW's right after my first few are essentially a blur. I guess I do remember the one that we had a $500 prizepool, and Molilla ended up taking first.

I'm also glad I started the "let's chop" aspect that you seemed to have enjoyed throughout the PTOTW's.

your double post makes me think you have some problem, like a speech impediment haha. though you're last post isn't double posted, so we're not falling for it .

i used to chop b/c my br was small then and the turbos were basically luck battles. don't really like chopping now, $10-$15 won't do much for my br, though i'll chop if i feel i'm better off in the later stages of the tournament. in short, i'm a greedy bastard.

Yeah, the double posts are driving me crazy. It's not happening 100% anymore though, so something is changing.

Who isn't a greedy bastard in poker?

WFT no more ptotw? really? why?.... I think this will really hurt the forums... its hard enough trying to get a good discussion going with it. Maybe they will reconsider. It really is a tiny fraction of the amount of money this site profits each week. But if not I still wanna say thanks for all the great tournaments.

No official word has been given on anything, we're all just making assumptions.
