FT $200 bonus. Anyone else?

Anyone else get offered one? I did, they gave me around a month to clear it. I won't get close to that unless I go on a massive heater, back to 5nl after a 7BI under EV swing in 1500 hands, and then a 2BI tilt, but even so it's a decent gesture and I'll probably clear $60 of it. $100 if I can get back to 10nl.

Best guess is that they are throwing bonus' at all players, sacrificing profits in the hopes of hanging onto players till the scandal blows over.

Bit of advice required. I just had a thunk about playing that short stack method, basically buy in short and shove QQ+ AK, fold everything else. If I 16 tabled that would I clear the bonus? I figure that strat is boring as all hell and no good for improving, but if it just breaks even over the period thats $200 free which I won't be able to clear playing normal poker. Thoughts?

They have done this in the past... with different levels offered for different people. I forget what mine was but it's somewhere in a thread here. I didn't clear the whole thing but got a good value from it.

Congrats man... I hope you get the most you can from it. Wish I was there.

I don't know what strategy would be best... but I wouldn't vary too much from what you're doing if it's working to maintain a positive winrate.

Actually I'm going through a bad patch. That under EV run seems to have affected my play and all I'm doing is breaking even atm. Still, that could also just be bad cards, it's not over a significant sample
