If the deck is A2345, can I assume whoever goes to showdown will split the lo pot?

The reason I ask is I was in this situation earlier with the nuts hi hand which was split with one other player in a 3 way pot and I got zero for the lo hand so I end up losing. The only thing that makes any sense is the villain who won the lo pot was holding an ace

i presume its omaha hi/lo.

You use 2 of 4 cards from your hand and 3 of 5 from the board.

If the board reads A 2 3 4 5 and you dont have any low cards in your hand you do not qualify for the low hand.
