Of the larger sites I hear that Pokerstars and Full Tilt have tighter players than the rest.

    Any thoughts?

Well, I only play on Pokerstars...it can be tough to get anything out of those players sometimes and sometimes it is easy money. Guess it depends on the table...

Personally I think that the Prima sites are probably the hardest to play because they are fed from so many other sites and you get so many players playing that you run into all kinds of yahoos. The only other one that I found to be difficult is PokerStars as, was said above, there are a lot of very tight players playing there.

I don't think of any site as being "hard" to play as it really depends on the type of players that they attract. You are not playing against the site you are playing against the players and for that I would say that PokerStars right now is probably the toughest site to play on.

I play on PokerStars for the most part and i think it is silly how you can hit a lot on the river. It still is my favorite site to play at though.

I enjoy Full-Tilt for skilled players and tight games. But if want loose games and realy wacked out crazy don't know how to play players try Pacific Poker. Be careful because you'll suffer more
bad beats than anyone could imagine. But if you can keep your cool you can take these wackos
    down pretty good.

I have been playing Ladbrokes Online Poker for a few months now, and it can be fairly tricky.

The lower $ entry games seem to be the easiest, where you can pick up some small winnings, but after about the $20 entry fee, it starts to get a lot trickier. This seems to be the level where the more experienced players come in.

Full Tilt has some decent regulars but still has a number of fish.

The Gaming Club is loaded with weak/passive players.

Ultimate Bet is probobly the softest site I've played at. Everyone is really tight so you can run over the games.

I only play on world poker tour online poker games. I can't really say if there's a difficult poker site out there. I think it does depend on your perspective. At times, playing on world poker tour online is hard too depends on the players I play with.

I'd say Prima is definetly on the harder side as it doesn't have that many players and many of the players are very very tight.

I would say that many sites are exactly the same. The amount of traffic on the site does change how difficult a site may be, as we can see from the U.S. poker ban. Generally, the limit you choose to play will determine the quality of players. .50/1 or lower is often fairly weak.

I play on Poker Stars and have to agree there are a lot of "solid" players. But since I consider myself solid, I like the fact that player notes mean something there. Many of the "solid" players are very predictable... good notes and you will "know when to hold'em and know when to fold'em..."

FullTilt had/has, it seems, a lot of total berzerko's. Action players that will cap preflop with just about any hand. That is not good, other than for the action. You either have to fold, or gamble with them, so.... if that's your style great, not mine though. That makes the games "tough to beat" in my opinion. I always want to feel I control the action, not some whacko 19 year old kid who's in college and receiving a monthly spending allowance from his rich parents. He doesn't care if he loses it, and laughs when he beats you. One has less hands for the same money, not the ideal...

I consistently find that Full Tilt is the hardest to make any money on.

I do OK at PokerStars but you do have to realise that the play can be a lot tighter and a typical SNG which takes an hour at most sites can take up to 90 mins there.

It is interesting to note that when you look at the tournament selector on Sharkscope that the Cryptologic network always seems to have fishy games. I think I probably need to get back on one of their sites (with RB of course) as I was a loser on Littlewoods but that was 18+ months ago and hopefully I now have the game to win there. The same tournament selector consistently shows that the $10+ games on Pokerstars have a high number fo sharks so it is wise to check the table flavour before sitting in.

pokerstars i think has by far the most players of allthe sites. so there u will meet more often stronger playaz and fewer fishes because they didnt make such a good experience there. at ps an fulltilt u will find more players who have learnt some theory and play styles while on smaller sites i sometimes feel like most guys dont know anything about poker

    Default Easiest site

I play on pokerstars and generally my roll is always going up. I feel it does not really matter what site you play at because there are going to be good and bad players at any site. If your got skill you are going to win at any site

These are by far the easiest to make money from. Just hammer your big hands against these idiots and you will see the profits roll in.

There are probably a lot less total beginners on poker stars than other sites. Ive never seen them advertised in sports matches for example, and the only people who find out about the site tend to be into poker already.

A friend just mentioned to me that Full Tilt is advertising extensively on MTV here in europe. That should be bringing in loads of novice players.
