^ yeah it was a 1 rebuy event too, duhamel used his second buy-in quite early, after bluffing off his stack.

ya, that's one hell of a tourney buyin for stars to put up. Maybe they did with some staking arrangements or partial buy-in, like half, if he agreed to cover the over half.

yeah or maybe each pro is assigned a certain amount of $$$ for live tournament buy-ins per year, depending on the pro

there was an interesting couple of posts on 2+2 by allen kessler and kid poker. negreanu denied that stars would put up his buy-in for the charity $1m buy-in wsop event in 2012.



so at least we know there's some kind of upper limit in what stars is willing to pay for
