    Default YouTube etc video links in forums

    You can now add links to videos in your forum posts, and they are automatically converted to an embedded video player within the post.

    For example if you want to share a YouTube video about the Dramatic Chipmunk with others, all you need to do is copy/paste the link of the video to your post.

    Add a link in your post...
    Code:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a1Y73sPHKxw
    ...and it becomes a video player after you make the post.
    [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a1Y73sPHKxw]YouTube - Dramatic Chipmunk[/ame]

    Currently the posting of video links works with YouTube, Myspacetv, Google Video, Bolt, iFilm, Yahoo, Dailymotion, and MetaCafe.

    You guys should make it so we can post in HTML in here. I tried to make a table in HTML, but it only came out in text form. Is HTML available, or do you have to use <>'s instead of []'s?

    Gamer, did you try using the Hyperlink manager? I think they have Javascripting disabled, but regular HTML should work I would think... Not sure since I never tried it myself...

    We do not allow posting HTML code in the forums. It would be a security risk.
