    Default Party Poker for sale

PartyGaming, the parent company of Party Poker, has told Financial Times at a recent i-Gaming conference that they are open to sales approaches from Las Vegas based casinos.

PartyGaming stock took a big hit last October when following the UIGEA they decided to pull out of the American market. They are still in talks with the US Department of Justice, and can be facing large fines like NETeller.

The situation in America is still evolving, and it can be possible that the UIGEA will be negated at some point. This would give way to American casinos to enter the internet gambling market.

If party poker decides to start allowing U.S. players to play on their site again, it would be good for business. Id like to get a hold of some party poker stock right now, if they are thinking about allowing U.S players again

I miss Party. That was the first site I ever played on. I definitely would play there again if they came back into the US market.

They won't, unless the legislation changes. Partygaming is a publicly traded company and has a liability to their stock owners, unlike the offshore poker rooms that do accept americans.

I hear that. It still bothers me a little that I didn't buy any of their stocks back when the new legislation came about and Party didn't allow any americans anymore. Their stocks plummeted real fast and real hard. After that, the stocks went back up again quickly. I could be wrong but I'm remembering that the stock went down around 70% in a day or so, and didn't take a long time to go back up again.
