Responded to the best win thread yesterday saying that for a $1 buy in , won a $1000 guaranteed tourney, racking up $300. What are the odds, played the same tourney tonight, same result, that's a total of $600 in two days

Thanks for saying it although it was more luck than judgement.
Have to admit, made one stupid play when 6 players left, I called an all - I'm holding J2, suited. He showed his cards, 99. I was called a donk but my reasoning was that I was over 12 times his stack and 3 times my nearest rival, the guy had been playing bingo poker all night and I was fed up of his pot buying. As it happens, flopped a J and ended up out pairing him, taking down the pot and feeling a tad guilty. To all of you out there, I know it was a stupid call, it was made after 3 hours of poker and all of the idiots should have gone by the final table (including me), I was fed up of this guys antics (all in previously with 26 os and hitting the gut shot str8). Anyway, if you witnessed my aberrant behaviour, my apologies, I felt bad all th eway to the bank again

Congrats on that achievement. If you feel that was not all just terrible luck, by all means invest some of the winnings on playing a bit higher buy-in tournaments to see how you do in them.

Well done if I need any tips I will know who to come to to ask, I haven't made the money in a $1 buy in ever.
Tho I do try and every time I do I get closer.
