I would have to say 50/50 because I have seen them get beat out numerous times.

lol, what kind of a question is that. Obviously pocket rockets. Why? They are the best starting hand in hold 'em, and hold up over 80% of the time.

The odds tell the truth. I will play anybody, anytime, with pocket aces starting every hand, they can have their favorite starting junk. Lets play, say 2000 hands and see where the money is at.........

That's variance, buddy. Do you keep track of your played hands? They do in fact hold over 80% of the time. They've held up for me 84.6% of the time I've played them, and I've tracked well over 300k hands in total. I lost three times with them just yesterday, two all-ins against KK and against TT, and once against KQo, which I shoudl've folded, because of the obvious straight, but I flopped top set and ended up totally pot committed by the river.

Very true. The problem is people dont know how to fold them when they should. Most ppl are subconciously thinking all in with aces before the flop even hits the board.
It all works out in the end!!

yea i agree with that, but just the fact that it was all in preflop 4 times.....and each time someone hit a set, and i mean im never gonna fold it preflop thatd just make no sense at all but i've had bad a real bad run with aces lately, not to fond of it lol

    Default Keep Playing em

MeloD, I am in the same boat as you as of late. I raise with pocket kings or aces and someone with a small pair calls 1/3 of their stack and hits trips (lately the turn is killing me), or a fish in love with suited cards hits the flush, and the big pair is cracked. Keep plugging, aces will pay off in the long run and the donks will pay.

Well Poker is about making money so it could be argued that a small pair or suited connectors are the "best" hand since when you hit your chances of getting paid off is way better than say AA hitting an ace.
