I have played the Ladbrokes Poker site for a few months now, and notice that they have a side bet option.
Does anyone know how this works, as it looks fairly interesting. Especially if I have a Full House!!!

Party has that option too, but I have never used it. It's not my thing, I just don't like -EV games that much.

I recall that on the Party Poker side bet you are betting on if all flop cards are of the same color.Originally Posted by pinnie

That sounds interesting, but I prefer the standard betting system. No reason to overcomplicate the situation.
yes when we played stud we'd make side bets on highest or lowest cards turned up in each others hands.
I have never seen this at any of the sites that I play at. What is the side bet for? Do you bet against the other players or are you wagering on something with the house? I am really not understanding what this side bet option is??
I dont bet on the side. I like to concentrate on the hand I am playing without worrying about other activity.
I wouldn't bet on the side either. I don't think I've seen this offered in any poker rooms these days though. This side betting thing is a little out of date.
The only side bets I have ever or will ever participate in are the ones between me and friends about who will last longer in a game. Those are fun... especially if you win them often LOL
I do them mostly at home but I know of a few other places that do them for SnGs & MTTs online... they call them "last longer bets."
I see you talking but all I hear is blah blah blah
