Default What is your favourite table size?

When I logged onto my first Poker Website, I noticed the vast array of table sizes available, and it was all a blur for a while.

After trying a few different tables, I now go for the smaller tables with $10 or $20 to enter. I also like to play later in the evening, when it appears that the less experienced players come online.

Im not saying that I am an expert, but you can soon tell who the inexperienced players are.

Do you have any tips on table sizes, times to play, etc.

If you are going for the bucks, then you are probably in the right time zone. If you are looking for experience, it does you good to play against players more experienced than you are. You might shoot for a little earlier.

I have tried a number of different websites, at different times of the day, at it does seem that the less experienced players appear late at night.

While I am not saying that all games this late at night are easy, it can prove very beneficial to join up with a fairly small table. I like to play on tables of between 5 and 10 players, with $20+entry, and be fairly agressive once you suspect who the inexperienced players are.

I think six is a good number - with me being the seventh. Enough folks that the pots can get nice an full, but not so many that it's complete chaos trying to get a read on the other players.

More than favorite table size is table shape what I take into consideration.

Call it superstition if you want but an octagon table is my ideal since associate to Feng Shui, 54 inches though

Wow, that is high tech!!! I think it's good to play with 6 because even though there are only two spots that take money, you only have to knock out four. Easy, cause sometimes you can just blind em out.

Maybe it's because I'm a grinder, no, that does NOT mean rock... okay, an agressive rock maybe, I like 7 or 8 players (online). I watch the "% seeing the flop" and will look for a full table, but with a lower percentage. Then I look at the average size stats. Ideally, lowest flop "see'ers" and highest average means you have a few whackos pumping the pot, but not a whole table full.

Also, a full table with those conditions lets you see more hands between blinds. Just my opinion.
