    Default net rake calculation?

Sounds like a nice incentive. How is net rake calculated on AP? What is the formula? Since, rakeback tracking is like a couple or more days behind. .. thx

    Hi liglierto,

Here is the info about Absolute Poker rakeback:

    Rakeback Type: Flat
    Rakeback: 30% of rake
    Tournament Fees: Included in rake
    Bonuses Deducted: No

Absolute Poker uses a weighted contributed method to calculate individual rake contribution. A player gets allocated the weighted proportion of the pot they contributed money to.

An example of this would be:

    If a player contributes $2 to a $10 pot, and Absolute Poker collects $0.50 as rake from that pot, then Rake Contribution = ($0.50 x $2) / $10 = $0.10

Also Flat means that the rakeback percentage is fixed and it will be always 30%

    Default Limited Field

Seeing the number of players at any given time at Absolute, I would guess this will be a small field. Too bad, the people who can afford this tourney will not appreciate the prize as much as us small rollers who play hundreds of games a month, but can not come close to 500 in rake per month alone. I guesss I will look forward to the next $200 Donk fest.

Is there a way to make the tournaments have a 2 dollar buy in with Rakeback sweetening the kitty? The free rolls for $2-300 are appreciated (I have cashed in Rakeback feeerolls), but attract the Super Donkeys and can be very frustrating for the first hour or so. A small buy-in would keep out the bottom of the barrel players that have no money in their accounts.

    Thanks again Rakeback.

    Hi bigmac208,

You need to have an Absolute Poker rakeback account to participate in this tourney, you can create it here: Absolute Poker Sign Up - Get Rake Back with Absolute Poker Rakeback Loyalty Program | Rakeback.com BUT keep in mind that rakeback is available only for new poker room accounts, so if you have already an account at absolute then you are unfortunately not eligable for rakeback.

    Default Rake

The chips at this site have nothing to do with rake. You must sign up at Rakeback, Then sign up at at site. When you pay the rake (ex. 10.00 - 1.00) 10 goes to the prize pool, a dollar goes to the house. If you are a valid rakeback member, you get a percentage of the dollar back, in my case 30%, so each 10-1 game I play, 1 dollar goes to the site, but .30 is mine at the end of the month. Once all those .30 or whatever amounts add up to 500.00, then you can play the special tourney.

This tourney is exclusive, not many will qualify, but there are many other Rakeback Community Tournaments which all Rakeback members are qualified.

If you are already on a site and not with Rakeback, move to another of the related poker rooms, get some of your rent money returned.

    Thanks Rakeback.......

    Hello everyone!

The month is almost over, check your raketracking daily to see if you are close to qualifying or if you've already generated your $500 in net rake to participate in this tournament!

    Default are y kidding

500 net in rake in a month?????? you have to be playing alot of poker and only on that site come on!!!! you would have to play 1-2 no limit for at least 4 hours a day for 20 days and thats just a educated guess.
