I guess this is draw poker so you should keep the pair of jacks. It is pretty good hand and if you are first to act you should bet it.

How are the cards treating you? It's tempting for sure, and I might have to go for it. The jacks are a sure thing, though. Drawing only one card could intimidate the others. Hmmm. I think I'd take the one and pray for the best!

my experience with draw poker has been that improving you hand is a very difficult thing.. 90% of the time, the cards you keep will be the best hand you haave..

I know, but sometimes it's the thrill of trying. Take a chance, jump on in, don't look back. Today maybe your lucky day. I would have to say that if I'm feelin' it, then I'm going for it!

I think that you just have to decide whether you feel lucky or not. The chance of getting the straight are pretty slim, but if you think that the other guys have good hands, then you should just go with what you feel. Nothing would be cooler than throwing down a straight. It would all depend on how the cards are playing, and how much you're playing for.

And how the other players are playing as well. If you are up against someone that's just off the charts lucky, then I might let the hand go. Otherwise, take a chance. You might come out the big winner, and isn't that why we gamble in the first place?

What about the flush! Why not keep that? You only have two cards to go and it could happen - it really just depends on the peeps you're playing with. If a three of a could beat them, keep the jacks

I would take the flush or the Jacks. From the looks of it, I might have just chosen the pair of jacks. It's safe but it's a good hand and you get 3 more new cards.

I would fold this hand in a regular 5 card draw, jacks or better to open game unless I was the one opening and there would be only one or two players yet to act after me. I would ofcourse keep the jacks as anything else in the hand is weaker.

I'd go for the jacks here too if I had to (folding is pretty much the right play without further details known). The straight draw is far better than the two cards needed for a flush, but nowhere near as useful as the jacks

    Default ?

What was the betting and how many card did the other players change?
Some info is missing here, but without info I would clearly go for the straight flush, thus saving JT of hearts :P

What I am getting here is it depends on your position. If you are the first hand keep the jack and draw but later on you may want to draw two especially if it is a jacks or better game and go for the flush.
